Refinished original floor and added new wood to match
We purchased a home that was built in 1972 and had original red oak floors. We hired Ky to refinish the floors before we moved in. I found his company on Home Stars and decided to call him based on his great reviews. Ky was able to fit in our job to meet our move in deadline and was willing to work weekends to get it done.
Our job was to refinish the existing hardwood on the main floor, feather in new wood between the kitchen and living room where we took out a wall and continue the new wood through the kitchen (which was previously tiled). We also had two sets of stairs to refinish.
Ky takes a lot of pride in his work. He took the time to do everything perfectly. His communication was prompt and knowledgable throughout the whole process. The quote he originally provided was what he charged us and I'm sure the feathering in of the new wood took a bit more time than anticipated. Ky cares about getting the job done right and doesn't take short cuts.
We are extremely happy with the work that Ky did. If you are thinking of investing in getting your hardwood done, you want to make sure it's done right and I would not hesitate to reccommend Ky.
