Absolute worst experience Ive ever had in dealing with this company. What a waste of time, money, energy, etc.
We are a group of 8 houses. We booked to get a fence done with this joke of a company in December 2022 for the 3rd week of May 2023. Jorge Jr. was super communicative and helpful. Even gave us a no tax if you book in December deal. We signed the contract and made the first deposit. He contacted us a month before our second deposit was due because apparently he needed to get the materials ASAP as everything was selling quickly and he didnt want us to be delayed(lol). Everyone paid the second deposit early. As May came, I messaged Jorge to confirm when they would be coming and whether or not we needed to prepare anything, as we had a temporary fence up. No answer from him. 2 weeks later I messaged him again and he informed me that they were delayed and the job would start on June 9. No prior communication about this from him. June 9th rolls around and zero communication from him again. I ask what time he is coming and he replies that he will let me know over the weekend. The following week we still had no info on what was happening. Finally we get a response from him that work will begin June 27th and that they are apparently very short staffed ( first ever mention of this). June 26th I asked him when he was coming the following day and he says he can only show up in July!! We spoke on the phone and I asked him to please be honest and realistic about whether or not he will actually show up and can do the job, as he has already wasted 2 months of our summer. He spoke to his father and he said they will for sure come at the end of next week. I told him that I really hope that is the case and if he doesnt show up, we would be asking for our deposit back. End of July comes and he does not show up. It is extremely difficult to get a hold of him. He finally answers and says that he is super behind and it might be best to get our deposit back. He said the refund should be processed within 10 daysas he needs to return the materials. Of course that did not happen. Upon speaking with him again, he casually mentions that he hoped it would take 10 days. Pretty sketchy to have a I hope it takes 10 days refund policy. He admitted that he was in the wrong and that it might be faster to get the refund through the bank as he has no cash to actually refund us ( there were a few of us wanting to get our money back). We were lucky because we paid with a credit card and we thankfully got our money back through the bank. Those that paid with etransfer are still waiting for their refund as the bank cannot do anything and of course Jorge is not giving it back to them (about 5k deposits from 8 houses.. not too shabby). He wasted our time, energy, money, and caused a lot of unnecessary stress. Because of his inactions and lack of care and communication with his customers, we can no longer proceed with getting a joint fence for all 8 houses. if he was honest and communicated with us properly and without stringing us along, we could have booked an actual reputable and reliable company and had a fence much earlier. Delays can absolutely happen, but they should at least be handled with a lot more communication and honesty. I simply do not understand how he can complete any job at this point so I would not recommend taking a gamble and dealing with him. Based on all the other reviews,I am very relieved that our fence was not done by him as it seems like it would take forever to get a hold of him to fix any issues that would arise.
