We moved recently from a huge house to a condo and bought new computers. We had to transfer our stuff from the old computers to the new ones. The problem is that my darling husband considers himself to be an excellent nerd, so I had to tread carefully not to hurt his ego. What appealed to me on Chris's website was the promise of "no humiliation".
Chris was true to his word. He was friendly, eager and very supportive, a real pleasure to have around. He worked for six hours and only charged us for five. His rates are higher than some of the other geeks-for-hire out there, but his personal touch is really worth it. He transferred files, taught me how to do simple stupid things (transfer pictures from my phone to the new laptop), and even straightened out my husband's mare's nest of
wires. When he was done, I was able to take my 8-yr.-old boat anchor of a computer out to the back yard and shoot it (only kidding), everything was neat & tidy and made sense. And here's the kicker: my husband LOVED him!!! And even better, he said he would be delighted to have Chris back to trouble-shoot if necessary in the future. Everybody was happy at this end. and I hope Chris was too.

This is everything I could ever hope to hear from a client, after a house call.
I'm so glad you were both pleased. It was great to meet you both. And it was a wonderful knowing I helped you remove that boat anchor from your day-to-day life! :)
