Washer stopped working, drum and agitator would not move. Suspected it was the coupler. Called Chris, he squeezed me in and was here within 2 hours. Diagnosed the issue, made the repair, out in under an hour. Professional, trustworthy, friendly, and knowledgeable. Doesn't get any better than this. Recommend without hesitation. Chris diagnosed the problem on the phone with me before going out of his way to come fix it outside normal work hours. He was speedy, polite and right on time! Our condo dryer is in a tricky spot but he was extremely careful and good at maneuvering it around. Definitely recommend Chris!

We inherited a Sub-Zero fridge from some previous homeowners that was sub-operational. The first company we called (which we found by Googling Sub-Zero repair in Toronto-beware) gave us quote for $1,600 to replace the compressor, among other things. We wanted a second opinion and called Chris. It turned out that the compressor was fine and the problem was something else completely. Chris properly diagnosed the problem and repaired the fridge at a significantly lower cost. The previous company also screwed up our ice-maker while they were there, which Chris fixed as well. Chris is personable, punctual, professional and honest. I would recommend him in an instant.

My Parents' Kitchen Aid oven wasn't working. I called Uptown, left a message, and Chris called me about 5 minutes later, and we arranged to meet at my parents' house.
The bake element was not wasn't preheating and he happened to have one in his truck.
Element was replaced, and stove is back to 100 percent.

My dryer wouldn't stop spinning when the door was opened, and stopped generating any heat at all. My landlord sent Chris over to do the repair, and he was exceptionally professional. Our Samsung washing machine wasn't working and I was referred to Chris from a friend. He was quick to respond to my call and came to fix my machine the next day. He was very polite and professional. He always answers his calls or returns messages very promptly and you always feel like an important client regardless of how small the job/problem. His charges are very reasonable and you only pay for parts and labour that need fixing/replacing. His diagnostics are bang on.
