Simply Comfort

Sales rep sold us new Furnance and A/C unit. Signed the contracts and service started. Find out later that they put a lien on your house without discussing this with you, and can raise the prices every year a maximum 3% per year. So far we have had them for 2 years and they raised the prices both years maximum amount, so cost goes up every year for your units that you thought was a certain price for the contract length. Also they promise yearly service on your units, but they don't follow up on them, basically you have to call every year to make sure they come and make the appointments. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone, if you do, make sure to find out all the hidden costs in the tiny print of the contract!

My furnace and AC is very old not working properly anymore. I called Simply Comfort and they arrived that same day. The techs were very knowledgeable and friendly. Jay T presented my options and was very accommodating to addressing my concerns. I signed up to proceed with the work. However, due to some very unfortunate news, my fiancé and I were unable to commit to having the work done for circumstances beyond our control. I called Jay T to cancel the work and he was very respectful of our wishes and privacy. He even offered some extra accommodations and promised that if things turn out for the best, he and Simply Comfort would honor all the great pricing, product, and service. Most salespeople would make threats or become aggressive, but not Jay T...he was kind, sympathetic, and very caring.

Friendly and quick customer service. good reps who are prompt and helpful. got a free NEST for buying a protection plan (5yrs) for furnace / ac.
couple of issues though.
1. Try not showing up at people's doorsteps without appointment saying Enbridge intimates you about all new move ins because i believe that's not true at all. Customers become suspicious and trust issues creep in with so many companies in GTA trying to con people.
2. Before selling additional stuff like water filtration system, hot water tank do a complete analysis of whether the customer needs it or not. Just by looking at calcium deposits in the filter you cannot scare the customer into buying one. I took a second opinion from a very reputed company and i was told otherwise in spite of the fact that i was ready to get one.
Apart from this the job they did was very satisfactory. Waiting for when the actual time for service comes as per the contract terms.

This company is a big huge lairs. they dont explain everything and then when you sign the contract you are the loser .
they do not care about their customers .
i highly advice every one be away from this company and their product .

Our Simply Comfort Technician Sathees came to our unit, diagnosed our problem and then offered a solution straight away. He even called back the next day and offered us a better rate for the heater.
The heater was installed by another tech (Murtraq) as soon as it was ready. It had a few minor hiccups but I was still really impressed by how quickly they get back to you after you call / text in your problem or inquiry.
So far, our decision to go with Simply Comfort is looking good! Thanks to Sathees and Elisabeth who kept reassuring us that we are valued customers!

Jay T provided my family and I with a wonderful experience, he went above and beyond making us feel very comfortable explaining everything throughly and in detail. He listened to our needs and pinpointed products to help us with exactly what we were looking for plus more! He is definitely an asset to the company. Thank you again for all of your help! Jay T has been a client of mine8 for the past 4 years. It was nice to know that he was a certified HVAC technician because I was in need of a new furnace. My previous carrier misdiagnosed the problem...however Jay T made a proper diagnosis and in no time the furnace was replaced with very little down time. I would highly recommend him and his Simply Comfort to anyone I know who have any problems to do with HVAC.

As part of my contract with Simply Comfort, I was contacted & arrangements were made to send a team to my place to check out my furnace. The two representatives of the company who came to my house arrived in the window of time we had agreed to. I was phoned about 20 minutes before they arrived as I had requested. Both were very friendly and, even more important, demonstrated a good knowledge of my furnace. The person that I interacted with the most was Jay Theventhran.
