Nicolas 1010 Reno

I had to renovate my Kitchen. I was recommended 1010 Reno by my Kitchen Cabinet Company. At this point I already had quotes from 5 other Contractors and they wanted to charge me bomb for my project that I almost gave up the project. Nicholas gave me a reasonable quote and very professional in all his dealings. He has an excellent team who work well together and are very good at what they do. He went above and beyond to make my dream kitchen become a reality. He was patient and accommodating. I was very impressed with his knowledge of his job and problem solving skills when issues came up.
The project was completed in time and within the quoted price

Nick did 2 bathroom renovations, 1 roof replacements and other renovation jobs on our house. He was being reasonable. At first, I was impressed with his response. However, the skylight he recommended and put in was not properly done. I advised him of a bathroom ceiling tile straining issue. He was unable to identified and correct the issue. He just replaced the tiles twice. It turned out it was caused by the skylight leaking directly from the bathroom onto the kitchen ceiling. We paid an extra $940 to correct the issue. He disappeared on us and never responded to our calls again.

His team did not take down a mirror before the paint job, when he knew that a new split A/C will be installed at this location. He patch up paint job was much worst than the one that I did by myself.

His former workers reported he's still in Toronto, just not contacting us to address the warranty on the bathroom issue. We are very unhappy about his lack of unprofessional attitude towards his work.

We called this company as it was suggested by the cabinet designer. He came by measured, talked to us and gave a quote. The job involved electrical, ceramic floor tiles, back splash, drywall and painting. The quote matched the final price. We had no issues.

Nick previously supervised the renovation of our main bedroom en suite bathroom. A plain builder's bathroom turned into a magnificent palace. We asked to help update the rest of our second floor, badly in need of painting and getting rid of old carpeted floors. Nick gave us a great quote and helped us choose the right upgrades. We even visited his staircase sub-contractor to make sure we were happy with the spindles and handrail he was making for us. Nick and his crew were and are both efficient and courteous. The job was done on-time and within budget. With Nick, if we are not happy, he is not happy. He involves you from start to finish and guarantees satisfaction.

Nicolas was on budget and on time and working with him and his team has been a great experience. His knowledge and experience in this business was evident from meeting him. I first had him quote the bathroom on the main floor of my bungalow - this required basically gutting the existing bathroom, taking a wall down from the bedroom (closet) to expand the bathroom and this then allowed for a separate bath and walk in shower, the addition of pot lights, a privacy window, tiling , plumbing, electrical etc. the end result was amazing. The team was at my house every day from 8:30 until at least 4/4:30. They were all (Hamilton, Asa, Jack, Vince and Eugene) polite, tidy and respectful. Nicolas kept me updated on everything that was happening. Any subcontractors he recommended were of the same excellent calibre (glass shower door/ installation of the gas fireplace). The experience was so good that I was happy to have Nicolas quote and complete my basement renovation. This to was a complete start over project with the removal of two large brick support posts to have them replaced with steel posts. The project involved moving plumbing, new electrical, insulation, framing, drywall, tiling and installation of laminate flooring and pot lights - as well as a new window added in the bathroom and a gas fireplace added. The finished space has a new bathroom, laundry room, open living room space and storage area was included. The project was also on time and came in on budget and was carried out with the same level of experience, professionalism, and with the same amazing team that cared about the quality of their work. I would highly recommend Nicolas and his team.
