Reliance Home Comfort Calgary

Our Rinnai tankless hot water heater began leaking on Sunday. We called the company that installed it, Sundace Plumbing, when they opened on Monday morning. They said they were too busy to repair it that day and to try A&B plumbing. A&B told us they would send someone out on Tuesday between noon to four. We got a phone call on Tuesday at 3pm telling us if it's leaking you will have to replace it and to call Plumb-Tec to repair it. So we call them with no answer. We tried Arpi' s they said they're booked up until November. Meanwhile we've missed an afternoon of work and the leak is getting worse. We saw an online ad for Reliance and gave them a call. They sent out Mat Laine the next morning at 8am. He showed up on time, explained their tankless system and the cost, then booked the installation for Friday morning. He tried his best to get it on Thursday, but we were just happy to have it fixed in days, not weeks! The installers, Darren Macdonald and Daryl Oaks came out on Friday morning right at the start of the time frame promised, 9am. They did an excellent job of installing the new tank and explained how it worked. They also told us our original system was installed incorrectly causing the leak so I guess that's why Sundance passed us off right away and when we called them back denied ever installing our system, even though their name was on the City of Calgary inspection sticker on the unit. It's nice to find a company that stands behind their work. We highly recommend Reliance their staff were all friendly, personable, and above all else knowledgeable in what they do.
