Our old water heater died on Friday. The sales rep, Daniel, was at our home by noon that day to discuss options and costs. The crew arrived within 24 hours with prep and install the new tankless heater. This included running electrical lines, the necessary plumbing and gas lines, AND remove and dispose of the the old heater. Daniel and the crew (Mahdi and Mehran) were very helpful, professional and above all courteous and respectful.

We already had Reliance furnaces, A/C unit, and now have a tankless water heater.

The worst communication I have ever experienced. E-mails unreturned, an inability to listen to the client.

My wife recently had to undergo major surgery and to assist in her recovery we decided to get air conditioning. We met with Daniel MacDougall, Reliance Home Comfort Advisor to go over our options and to get a quote. We found Daniel to be extremely knowledgeable and very courteous. Daniel quickly determined our needs. Turned out our furnace was too old (over 20 years) to handle an air conditioning unit. Once Daniel found out that my wife was having major surgery he did everything possible to ensure our new furnace and air conditioner unit would be up and running prior to her surgery. We are very grateful for all his efforts.

When the time came for the installation of the furnace and air conditioner the two Reliance installers assigned to the job contacted us to ensure we were home. Upon arrival they assessed the situation and like any installation job uncovered a couple of hiccups. They immediately determined an appropriate course of action, discussed it with us and proceeded with the installation. They were efficient, professional and polite. Unfortunately they could not complete it in one day and working around their schedule returned twice to complete the job.

Throughout our experience we found Daniel and the installers to be easy to work with. Their dedication and efforts ensured we had both a furnace and air conditioner installed and working when my wife returned from her surgery.

We could not be happier with the products, service and staff provided by Reliance.

Installed a Trane heat pump and a Trane high efficiency gas furnace to back up the heat pump in very cold temperatures. The heat pump is supposed to work effectively down to -15C. It could not keep our house warm (21C) at the outside temperature of +3C. Reliance technicians say the device is performing properly.
The installation was done well but we were sold a heat pump that does not generate enough heat for our climate.
So we are using the gas furnace all the time.

We have been long time customers and had hot water tank, furnace, and air conditioner installed. They were great at the start. We are on a service agreement with them which is supposed to include regular maintenance and repair services at any time.

This never happens. We went to book a maintenance call and it was going to be over a month wait. This is unacceptable business practices when you are paying monthly to have much much better service than this.

Having to call and fight to speak to a manager is also very frustrating. It should never happen, again, when you are paying monthly and the fees increase every damn year. More cost - less service.

Had our Water Heater installed by Mitch a subcontractor of Reliance. Mitch provided a great service to install water heater. He is courteous, polite and professional. He also very respectful of my home. Absolutely Excellent service!! Mitch was very professional, did the job perfectly. Highly recommended Reliance and Mitch to friends and family.

Carlos did an excellent job performing the maintenance on the furnace. He was very professional, and did a nice clean job. Perfect. Will recommend his services to anyone needing HVAC installation.

Marco was the tech that serviced my furnace. He was thorough, polite, and respectful of my home. I pay a monthly amount for a reliance furnace package. It has paid off in the few months Ive been a customer. Ive had my furnace repaired and serviced at no extra cost to myself outside of the monthly fee.

This is just a warning to those who are thinking about renting with Reliance. Particularly a water softener. The salesman only stated to me it would be $29.99 a month. Sounded like a fair deal at the time. However after looking at the fine details of the agreement I noticed the actual cost of the softener was $507.00. After my 84 months of payments I will have paid $2645.16. They are charging me 74.04% interest with a total cost of interest of $2012.16. You are far better off purchasing a water softener and saving a whole bunch of money! I will say that there service is top notch.
