Installed a Trane heat pump and a Trane high efficiency gas furnace to back up the heat pump in very cold temperatures. The heat pump is supposed to work effectively down to -15C. It could not keep our house warm (21C) at the outside temperature of +3C. Reliance technicians say the device is performing properly. The installation was done well but we were sold a heat pump that does not generate enough heat for our climate. So we are using the gas furnace all the time.

The Reliance advisor Jigar Vaidya was very knowledgeable and accommodating in dealing with my requirements. Their 10 year parts and labour warranty was important in my decision making. Other companies gave a 1 year labour warranty. Since labour costs are usually much higher than the cost of parts their warranty was important to me. The installation was done in one day by their crew of 3 professionals.

Ian of Squeaky D Window Cleaning called me right after I contacted HomeStars for gutter cleaning service. He visited my house that evening to determine the magnitude of the job and quoted the very reasonable price of $100. I asked him to quote on also cleaning the windows on the same trip. Price for windows was $150. Both jobs were completed the next afternoon for the total cost of $250 plus GST. I am very happy with the results, and will definitely use them again.
