Leighton replaced the outside vent cover for the dryer - and also replaced the dryer venting - the job was done so well that I recommended him to my sister right away!

I bought a new dryer from sears, and all vent system (pipe and ...) from Home Depot and installed all as a new vent line, but my dryer stopped working as vent sensor was activated after 2 minutes.
I tried to remove the wall cap from outside home wall, no success.
I started searching on youtube and found this company. They came on time, on schedule, they did a very Professional job, clean and in the proper way. First, they measured the flow of air from the machine and installed piping system (the same quality that they promise).
After searching on youtube, I found that I put my home in a risk of fire for seven years as my old machine had a very poor ventilation system. I am glad that I bought a new dryer and copied the same ventilation system just with new equipment, but my dryer sensor pushed me to find the best service provider.

Tyler was very professional, explained all the required work, did it as quoted and in a timely fashion. Highly recommended service. Tyler also went a step further by providing before and after photos of the work.

Found this company on line yesterday and got an appointment today. Leighton was excellent. He was experienced and made me aware of dryer safety issues. He was thorough and checked the outside venting and air pressure to ensure everything was working properly. Great Job Leighton!!

We were doing a renovation to create an upstairs laundry and we called Dryer Vent Wizard of York Region to help with providing both input to the design and performing installation services for the dryer vent. Tyler was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He provided expertise and opinions for the placement and routing of the vent, he worked with our contractor and was accommodating to our logistics and performed a final installation and check once the dryer was in-place. He did final checks and measurements on the air-flow with the dryer operating. He did not charge us until the work was done and we were happy with the installation. I was extremely satisfied. He was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly and did a professional job. I felt like he treated our Project like it was his home, not just a job to do, but taking a lot of pride in his work.

I was having issues with my dryer vent not venting properly and therefore I was having to dry a load 2x in order for the clothes to dry. I called Tyler and within a couple of hours he was at my place. He thoroughly explained what was wrong and what he was doing to fix the issue. Very thorough, professional and clean. Very competitive pricing too! I would recommend Tyler if you are having dryer vent issues.

I called the Dryer Vent Wizards to replace my old dryer ducting and vent that had some holes and not up to fire code. In spite of some small hiccups dealing with their American call center (clearly based in the Southern states from the accents), the appointment was scheduled and Leighton came earlier than expected. He gave me a courtesy call ahead of time though to confirm I would be home and I was more then willing to have him come earlier so I could head back to the office for the day.

Leighton came in, put on his booties and came down to the basement to assess the situation. We discussed different solutions for routing and he quoted me on the spot. I agreed to the quote and he completed the job within an hour. He did a very thorough cleanup and vacuumed the space quite well. I felt kind of bad because the place was cleaner than when he started the job. :)

Overall, I am very pleased with their work and highly recommend them.

A very professional company. Tyler was on time, honest and cleaned two vents for less then many other companies charge for one. This company was a pleasure to deal with and I highly recommend them to anyone who requires their services.

We couldn't be more pleased or satisfied with the professional attention given to our dryer issue by DRYERVENT WIZARD!  The work and result was truly top-shelf! Our dryer was heating up but just not drying the laundry. Tyler's knowledge and expertise allowed for a quick and accurate  diagnosis  of the problem which ultimately resulted in a dryer that works like new!
Tyler began with a thorough diagnostic assessment which included among other things, taking photos of ducting that lead from the dryer to the wall. In most cases one would not need to take pictures but ours is not very accessible.  It is located in a very hard-to-reach place (dryer is part of a stackable set that sits in a made-to-measure closet. He also measured the exhaust air speed prior to making improvements.
He recommended replacing some material that was not up to code (unfortunate what some contractors will use) that was a potential fire hazard.   New and appropriate parts were installed. Also, a significant amount of lint had accumulated in the ducting, some was even singed. Called Tyler just in time!  He removed all the lint from the ducting. Once all the work was done Tyler measured  the exhaust air speed again and there was a marked difference in the speed. The dryer was now able to work efficiently and safely again.
And all work was done with respectful consideration of our home environment. Tyler wore shoe covers and made sure no lint mess was left behind (inside or outside the house).
A+ on all counts!
