We had to plan and execute some major renovations in preparation to move my in-laws into our home. Renovations included converting two bedrooms into one larger room, converting our bathroom with tub into a walk in shower and to take about 30% of our unfinished basement and build a media room with full bathroom.

After researching multiple vendors and receiving multiple quotations, we selected ROI Reno’s. Our decision was based not only on the price, but on our comfort level in speaking with Jim Dickinson, owner and based on his experience and customer reviews etc. We absolutely made the right decision!!

The estimate for completion was approximately 8-9 weeks, so it was important we were comfortable with Jim and his team frequenting our home everyday for an extended period of time.

Jim explained the process and what to expect and we collectively decided on the priorities throughout the project. We had the option of providing Jim with product information for him to purchase and pick up or have the products delivered, or to do so ourselves. We worked together to keep on track, and we ensured we stayed ahead of them by having products on site in advance of the next steps. This was possible due to the excellent communication from Jim and team on estimated timelines for each step.

Jim offered several suggestions throughout the project to help streamline some of the lines in the media room by reducing the number of bulkheads as an example. We have a much cleaner look there now by simply relocating a couple of gas lines to flexible hoses etc, that kept the ceiling height and cleaner lines. That was just one example, there were other neat things suggested that all added value to our project.

The project was completed on time and we are absolutely delighted with the end results and my in-laws absolutely love their new bedroom and bathroom. We love our media room space with full bathroom, where we can hide out!!

ROI recently renovated a kitchen for me and I found the work to be exceptional. The workmanship and time line was met with regard to getting permits, inspections and coordinating all the trades. After every day the work area was clean and safe. Every detail was addressed in a timely manner. We installed a island hood and I wanted it to be a particular height, Jim did research and worked with me to get what I invisioned. He worked with the trades and ensured a timely completion. We have all heard of kitchen Reno nightmares but I did not experience this it was handled professionally In every aspect. I would highly recommend ROI FOR YOUR RENOS

ROI Reno's removed a load bearing wall from our kitchen into dining room in order to make our kitchen larger. They also installed new tile in our front and side entrance and in our kitchen. Their workmanship is amazing, could not be happier with how everything turned out. I would highly recommend for any project small or large!

Jim and Jim did another great job for us that entailed removing an old kitchen, tearing out a portion of wall, installing an entire new kitchen from floor up, re-tiled laundry room, powder room, installed new cabinets in laundry room, re-grouted two upstairs bathrooms, installed new vanities in three bathrooms, installed heated kitchen floor, painted wall, trim, re-routed exhaust duct over stove, plus many other interconnected items. Especially pleased that they caught a problem with the original plumbing that could have caused major flood damage. This is the second major renovation job and will always call on them

Jim and Jim renovated and updated our basement over the course of two months and we could not be more pleased with the final product. They were always respectful of our property and a pleasure to have in our home. We knew we were in good hands with Jim and Jim and had the utmost confidence that the work was being done properly and to the highest standard. We will definitely recommend them to friends and family and they will be our first call for any other home renovation projects we need done.

On a recommendation from our daughter (Jim had renovated a bathroom doing an exemplary job) we hired him to rebuild two sets of outdoor stairs and to secure a new handrail on our basement stairs. We have lived in our home for 35 years and what was acceptable when you're in your forties is not when you're in your seventies or eighties. Jim was both courteous and efficient. He came and went on his own and we scarcely knew he was there. He completed the work in a timely manner exceeding our expectations and left the work areas tidy.
