Aktas Floors & Interiors

After 4 days away over the Labour Day weekend we returned home to find that a slow leaking hot water rad on the main floor of our 100+ year old home had caused major damage to our open plan main floor and basement. Aktas Floors in Brampton was contracted by the company managing the restoration of our home to replace the flooring. While initially the plan was to replace only the damaged sections, it was impossible to achieve an acceptable match due to the age and availability of the original birch parquet. We then visited Hugo in his Brampton showroom. Hugo took his time to show us various flooring options, recognizing that this was a big decision for us. With his help we eventually chose to go with strip engineered hardwood flooring, and it has worked out beautifully. We are so pleased with this choice and Aktas Floors' workmanship. We will definitely consider Hugo for our next flooring project.

I have recently been in touch with Aktas Flooring and dealing with Emily from the Mississauga location. She has been nothing but exceptional so far, by the way did I mention that we have not met each other and has handled most of our transaction over text, email, and phone calls due to my busy schedule and timings. I have been trying to get this project completed for last few months and other places have been ignorant or not interested due to the small project (700 sq ft). Emily went out of her way to find out which material I had from the builder I was dealing with, I provided her with as much info myself and we are about to make it happen. I will update this review with pictures once they install but what a great start to this project. She has even provided samples and an estimator to come out today to finalize the details.

Aktas Floors completed engineered hardwood supply and installations in our newly renovated house. From the first meeting with owner (Hugo) and sales person in their showroom everything was peefect. They answer all of my question and help us out choosing the product. We are extremely happy with their service and installation was completed on time as they promised. We are very happy and reccomend their service to anyone. They have all other selections for floor covering products, such as carpet, laminate, vinyl flooring and tiles.

I have read so many wonderful things about this company and they are all true. Hugo, Matt and Jay (the installer) all went above and beyond to provide excellent service- working very long hours to complete the job. I had Aktas replace all the flooring and baseboards in an investment property I own. Another flooring company wouldn't commit to an installation date so I cancelled with them. I was under a tight timeline to find a company to do the job before the new tenant moved in. Upon googling, I found Aktas and decided to go with them based upon all the positive reviews. I am very happy I did. The quality of the product, their pricing and their customer service are all excellent!
