Delamaine Stairs & Railing

Steve came to reinforce my stairs. My stairs had been squeaking and were weak. Steve immediately knew how to remedy the problem, and now I know my stairs are much stronger and more secure. Plus he did an excellent job on finishing the drywall. I highly recommend him.

I had several quotes for my stair renovation. It included removing the carpet from my stairs and replacing it with hardwood, the spindles painted white, the railing being sanded and stained and hardwood installation in the upstairs hallway. Steve came in at a reasonable price and he knew more about stairs than the others. I didn't realize it is quite a speciality. Steve and his helper Bill were always pleasant, on time and cleared away the mess daily. The spindles and railing were prepped in his workshop so you don't have that mess to deal with. The doorways were sealed to prevent dust entering during installation. The results are beautiful! I would highly recommend Delamaine Stairs.

Steve was very professional and knowledgeable. He actually does the job himself and supervises the work of his assistants. He doesn't give them a job to do and then leave the site. His presence at every stage of the project was invaluable and our stairs look fantastic! We appreciated the attention to detail and the fair price and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

Steve was recently referred to me for my basement renovation where he very expertly installed a hardwood railing adjacent to the stairs going into the basement. We were lucky to have him there when the pool table leg broke in four places and Steve was able to take the leg home to reinforce and repair it. Now it is as good as new!
I found Steve to be knowledgeable, honest and professional and I have no hesitation in referring him. We were very happy with the sturdy construction of the stair railing and pool table leg reconstruction.
Installing hardwood in the near future is our next plan and we will definitely be giving Steve a call!
