Liddle Rascals Wildlife Control

We thought we had a squirrel in our chimney and searched HomeStars to find someone to remove it. We came across Liddle Rascals with really good reviews and ratings. We were not disappointed! Scott came the same day and it was actually a raccoon and he was still in the chimney. Scott set the one way door on the chimney top so once the raccoon left he could not get back in again and he came a few days later to put a permanent wire mesh over the chimney top. What really impressed us about Scott is that in addition to doing a great job resolving the raccoon issue, he was great afterwards when we had some additional questions and concerns about installing a chimney cap and was very responsive to our emails. Scott went out of his way to explain things to us and even came over in person to address our concerns. We highly recommend Liddle Rascals and Scott. There are probably others who could also have resolved the raccoon issue, but I doubt there is anyone who provides great customer service and goes out of their way to make the customer happy. I didn't realize that I had raccoons living in my attic until I heard weird noises coming from the ceiling.

I called Scott early Monday and he was at my front door in a couple of hours. He and Tony confirmed the presence of raccoons, identified their point of entry on the roof, installed a one-way door, covered the roof vents with wire cages, and came back a few days later to seal up the roof at the raccoons left.

We called Scott to inquire about squirrel removal and prevention. He was able to drop by our home that same day to quickly assess the situation since he was in the area. After inspecting the exterior of our home, he was able to easily pinpoint the entry points and also advised us of some other areas we could address (but did not pressure us in any way to do so). He gave us a very reasonable quote and offered to complete the job right away or at later date. We agreed to have the work done right away. He installed wire meshing and a one-way door around the entry points.

Scott was very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with. He had no problem answering all of our questions. Scott even advised us of some water damage that we should get looked at by a roofing/eaves trough specialist. We were very pleased with our experience with Scott and would recommend his services to friends and family without any hesitation.

So relieved after I met with this company. Very professional and arrived on time. I had a situation where I heard something in my ducts. Did a thorough inspection of any entry points and made some really useful recommendations to mitigate the problem from coming back. Turns out that the animal had most likely escaped by the time inspection was done however I was really put at ease about everything due to the polite and really compassionate nature of the person who came to my house. I will definitely be calling again if anything else happens.

Cage put around vents, wire mesh installed at accessible locations. A little bit pricey, but hopefully no more raccoons in attic.

He did not pressure us to authorize the work to be done immediately and sent us a detailed estimate. He helped patch up our aging chimneys where the mortar had eroded and installed a bat door. I called Scott and he fit me in the same day between 2 other appointments. I showed him where I heard, and later saw, a squirrel go into my soffits. He stood outside that area and 'chirped' until 2 baby squirrels popped their heads out. He indicted that they were not newborn and old enough to extract using a safe 'one way' trap door. They can come out, but they cannot go back in. He also checked all areas of my roof and fixed 2 other potential entry points for vermin! Scott indicated that we may hear and see these squirrels hanging around outside the trap over the next couple of days. Sure enough, the very next morning we did hear noise outside the trap and there were 3 squirrels trying to get back in. Not long after, mom came by and the 4 of them went through our neighbours back gate! A few days after this, Scott picked up the trap, secured the entry point and we have not heard or seen a squirrel since! Scott was polite, professional, prompt and courteous and I would recommend his services to anybody.

Several months later a brutal wind storm tore off 3 large sections of shingles. We did not know who to trust to do the work and opted to give Scott a call. Not only did he inspect our roof, he also did he repairs at the same time. Just in time before a rainfall.
