Love Seat Recliner

Without a doubt this was the worst experience of my life! We wanted one of their recliners and we picked the fabric we wanted. We were told by the sales person that it would be 4 to 6 weeks. We almost didn't buy it because of the price but we were led to believe Lazy Boy was the best. WRONG! They took our payment with no problem stuck the paper work in front of us to sign. We started reading it but they rushed us through. After 6 weeks we called and they told us it would be 12 weeks because it is being made in Tennessee. What? They would not give our money back because in the fine print it said special orders are final. 15 weeks in total we finally got the recliner. When it was brought in we were shocked by the poor workmanship! Buyer Be Ware!! Don't purchase from Lazy Boy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience at Lazy Boy Furniture in Burlington .
Couldn't have done it without my amazing salesperson
Brenda Tompkins who was so helpful and pleasant and
made the experience a pleasure. I would definitely recommend this store to my friends.

recliner chair purchase

The chair is nice, but this has to be one of the worst cases of bad customer relations we have experienced. There was a mistaken overcharge on the original invoice at the Burlington store. We made no less than seven long distance phone calls to the salesman over a period of 2 months to attempt to get the charge reversed on our credit card account. Twice our call was not even returned by him. Each time the promise was made that it would be taken care of immediately. We finally had to drive 38 Km to the store and confront the salesman to have the overcharge reversed.

If they're the only ones with the product you want and everything goes fine- okay, but don't have any problems or concerns. We hate to think how long it would take to get any action if we ever have to make a claim on the fabric warranty.

Loveseat and accent chair purchase

This furniture store on the Queensway has very poor customer service. The staff requires training in returning calls from clients and contacting them when there is a delay in their order.
I ordered furniture at this store at the end of February. Despite being told I would receive the delivery in 8 to 10 weeks, the furniture arrived 13 weeks later. The chair was damaged and they indicated they would reorder it. I received the replacement chair on November 9th - more than 8 months later! I would have purchased furniture elsewhere had I known it would take this long to receive it. My problem with this store is the number of calls I had to make to inquire about the status of the chair that went unacknowledged and unreturned. I think the staff takes their cue from the store manager Marisa - she made the sale in the first place - but then took no interest in assuring that the delivery was made. I had to resort to going in to the store in person to actually speak to her and later, when I still received no answers to my calls after another missed deadline, to state that I would be contacting head office if she did not respond. I will not return to this store that is sorely lacking in customer service. It is a case of making the sale and then forgetting about the customer.

Leather Sofa

We purchased a recliner, sofa and love seat from la-z-boy and we purchased the extended warranty. I found the external company who takes care of warranty to be very rude and not helpful at all. They try and get out of doing anything for you. The customer service at la-z-boy itself is also terrible. After spending $6K you would expect more from a store which supposedly has a good rep but quite honestly i would never recommend them to anyone nor would i buy their extended warranty which is completely useless...its not cheap either. I wish we had never bought the extended warranty as they are just very unpleasant to deal with.

purchase of living romm furniture

When searching and deciding to purchase living room furniture in the La-Z-Boy store. we were told that there would be a dscount on each piece only to find that we would be given a coupon for discount on further purchases. After 5000.00 in new furniture, we didn't need any more. Coupons also had a very short expiry date, so were useless. When delivered the furniture was not assembled properly and we now find that the leather is very poor quality.
