Steve was prompt and professional in correspondence and diligent while working. I appreciated having my doors fixed/re-aligned and for this company coming out to do so. For the work performed, I found it a tad bit expensive ie. despite justifying what it may have cost had he sent out someone else. Also, with fall COVID cases and hospitalizations ramping up and being well into flu season, I requested a mask be worn in my home and even provided one, but much to my dismay, Steve refused to wear one. For this reason I felt unsettled, disrespected and powerless as it seemed I had no choice in order to get the work done.

Three windows and one storm door were expertly installed. The work was done in about 5 hrs. In addition, an adjustment was performed on my eavestrough, where an overflow occurred during heavy rain. This service is greatly appreciated.

Richard was awesome to work with, he updated us on time with the progress and was very thorough with his explanations. He made sure we
have all the options and understands what our decision is going to give us. Ashot and Bernie did an amazing job with the installation and finished on time. They even did a little side project for us free of charge to help clean up the exterior look.
We are very happy with the process and how it all turn out.

We have a 1950's home and it was time to get the windows replaced. After calling multiple companies we decided Fortress has the best price and warranty that we're looking for. The crew was well organized and accommodating. We had a newborn baby. When they were finished, we had 3 beautiful windows and zero mess. Talk about personal service. We had a minor issue with one of the windows and Steve took it upon himself to get it done. 2 years before we also had our windows replaced with another company at 3x the cost. What a waste of money. Should've gone with Fortress then. Highly recommended!

Richard was a great sales representative, and kept us well informed throughout the process. He provided all the info needed for our Greener Homes Retrofit grant application. The installation team under Alex were quick and efficient, with no mess left behind.

Called a dozen companies to find someone to fix my front door. Everyone else said they only sell new doors. Steve came quickly and our door is fixed. He even repaired an issue with the door handle that wasnt why I called him. When I need windows or doors, they will be my first call.

Installation day was seamless. Alex and Edward were fantastic. They were punctual, efficient and cleaned up before leaving. I now have the privacy I wanted with ample natural lighting. The colour is perfect. The multi lock system is great. I am an extremely happy lady.

We recently had all our 2-storey house windows and patio door replaced with Fortress. We compared two other companies and decided to go with Steve and his team because of the quality, price, honesty, and authenticity. Steve was always available with any follow-up questions we had. We recommend their services! We were completely satisfied with the company from start to finish; they made this big project less stressful than it could have been. There were no errors with measurements despite our house having quite a few non-standard windows (1.5 storeys tall-, bow-, and extended arch top windows). Installation was actually done slightly ahead of schedule. The installation team was hardworking, efficient, considerate, and they cleaned the debris afterwards.
Windows are of high quality. Even on the first night of having new windows in with only foam insulation but no outside aluminum covers/seal yet (step one of installation process), we noticed how much quieter these new windows actually are; we also noticed how much more efficient they are because they held cooler temperatures inside the house longer than the 15 year-old builder windows we had prior (our AC turned on fewer times). We made the decision to purchase additional coating on our east- and west-facing main floor windows because of the low cost of this option. We know it was the right decision as we have been enjoying energy savings ever since they were installed. We were pleasantly surprised of how quickly noticeable the quality and efficiency of the Fortress windows was to us. We are completely happy with the quality, workmanship, and service provided by Fortress Windows, Steve and their install team!
