I had a service man come, he advised the service charge would be 75 dollars unless we agreed to fix the part, we agreed on 300 dollars and when they came the next day the amount was changed to 500 dollars. I think this was very unprofessional. I read the reviews and thought they seemed trustworthy. in addition, he said if I went with the 300 fix and it didn't work, I would have to pay 150 for the used part.

hey there at least tell the whole story on your situation , when my tech arrived to your place and checked your washer machine he diagnose that the lock need to be change and gave you the price for the lock and install for 300$ after more research that was on you washer it become that there is possible that the lock will be replace and the washer still not going to work and in that case your motor control board will need to be replace as well , so the customer have 3 option 75$ for service call , 300$ for new lock and last option 500$ if the motor control board need to be replace , the 150$ been told if we put new lock and it will not work so she will have to pay for the cost of the lock and for sure not used part we give warranty on part and used only original part.
and by the way the machine is about 12 years old and the lady said its better to buy new one and not even wiling to pay the service call .
