Lone Star Plumbing And Heating

Found a leak from our hot water tank on a Saturday. Ryan was able to get someone out Sunday morning and the problem was fixed in a few hours. They are very up front about the job and the cost. Their invoices are detailed, so there is no misunderstandings. The staff are all very polite, friendly, clean and capable. Another company I called quoted me $300 to walk in the door. Lone Star did the entire job for $425, with a reasonable trip fee included. They will always be my first call!

Anyone who has had to live without water to their home knows just how incredibly awkward it can be. I was so impressed with Lone Star and their rapid response time to get our problem fixed and the water supply restored. Thanks Jason !!!!!

Peter, you and your people have been wonderful to work with, the best. I can’t thank you enough for the quick response on short notice to the failure of our Navien unit. I thought the Navien would make until the planned replacement. But somehow you were able to move around other projects to help us. Your man on the ground found that it wasn’t only the heating unit that had failed. Tim is a good listener and heard us talking about the heat fluctuation in the water when in use. He had a suspicion, went with his gut, and replaced the failed check valve on the recirculating line. The valve he replaced had failed in the open position. Tim also found that the original floor heating installers hadn’t installed a gasket on the in-floor heating run, and that the gasket was cracked on the return run. Both joints showed signs of leaking. Thank you Ed as well.

Do you know how good it is as a customer to have this kind of great service? Lonestar was the absolute best choice for us, and the IBC system (Boiler/Indirect Tank) the best choice for the house.

We decided to bite the bullet and replace the poly B pipes in our home. I contacted Lonestar after reading several great reviews online. Peter was quick to get back to me and set up an estimate. He was easy to talk to and work with. I was happy with the estimate and they where able to fit me in the very next week. The guys who came to do the work where polite and seemed to work hard and efficiently. I was happy that they where able to wrap things up at the end of each day so the mess was limited and the water was back on for the evening. They finished faster than I expected and I am so relived to know that the pipes in my house are not "ticking time bombs" for leaks.
They also installed new water lines, shut off valves and hose bibs.
We had one small issue with the water line for one of the toilets leaking after being replaced. They were quick to send someone to fix the issue.

First contacted Lone Star through HomeStars. Got a response later that day, quick texting back and forth gave me a rough quote and time frame. We agreed on a time and day, Grant showed up on time, was polite and friendly and got the job done quickly, even after another problem popped up. Great service and the total price came in under the oringal quoted number.

What was a 1960s dysfunctional bathroom is now a calming oasis, thanks to Lone Star. Mark is a very professional, polite and skilled worker who goes the extra mile. Very satisfied customers here, who highly recommend this company. We won't hire anyone else.

Tim was very knowledgable and was quickly able to figure out our furnace issue. The best part about working with Tim and Lone Star is the feeling your being dealt with honesty. It's awesome there are still service companies where integrity is their priority.
