removal of knobs and tubes

During the renovation of the upper floor in our home, the contractor found “live” knobs and tubes wiring. We were surprised by this as we were sure that our house had been rewired before we purchased it.
We called Fusion Electric to deal with the issue. Shean and Matt eliminated all of the old wiring and ran new ones. We were impressed with their excellent work. Fusion Electric did the all of the electrical part of the renovation.
We would highly recommend the services of Fusion Electric.

Installing flood lights, replacing exhaust fan in bathroom

We had two main concerns regarding our new home that we moved into last year.
1. There is no streetlight at the front of our house, leaving us with very little lighting in our long driveway and front porch area.
2. The exhaust fan in our washroom was very, very loud and we did not have the convenience of being able to turn it off when it wasn’t needed, as it was connected to the main switch of our washroom light.

We were given some recommendations for reliable contractors and through research and the help of this HomeStars website we decided to go with Fusion Electric. We were not disappointed in our decision.
Sean arrived promptly and completed the tasks with a professional and positive attitude.
He suggested we install flood lights with motion sensors on the front of our house as an added degree of safety and convenience. We are very pleased with the result, especially now in the winter months, as it is dark when we leave and return from work.
The washroom fan was replaced with a much quieter one and conveniently separated from the light with an extra switch. Despite the fact that Sean had to do some work in the attic, he left no mess and left the room as clean as he had found it.
We are very happy with our decision to go with Fusion Electric and couldn’t have chosen anyone better for the job!

Knob and tube replacement

We found some live knob and tube wiring when we were dong some reno's recently. Sean came in immediately to assess the issue as we were panicked. He calmed us immensely and put us at ease. He replaced the wiring in record time. Sean also took the time to help us identify other issues on our second floor and gave of suggestions on how to remedy the issues by ourselves. A+

new wiring (small job)

I called Fusion to update the wiring in our future baby's room. For a small job, Sean was able to make time very quickly. When he looked at the wiring, he saw that it was in perfect shape, and only made minor alterations to the box and switch. We were very impressed that he didn't charge more for the visit, but he insisted that the wiring was sound, so minimal work was all we should do. He was very tidy and considerate. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Kitchen Track Lighting

Sean was quick to get back to us and come in to provide an estimate for our project. That was great. He was also pretty flexible about setting up a date for the work. But then he got the date wrong and we had to reschedule.

When his guy eventually did come in for the work, he was friendly and helpful.

We're satisfied with the work and the price. But Sean could have been a bit more careful with his calendar.

new house wiring

I gave Sean a new house wiring from getting a new service all the way to the finishing. I hired him through a referral I got from somebody I knew and worked with for a long time. His rate was reasonable and he finished the job on time, I’m very demanding and not very easy to work with but Sean made sure to meet all my needs. Sean and his crew were clean and polite which is very important to me and he doesn’t cry for his money like many others do.
Not the cheapest but fair and would definitely work with for my next project, like my father always said “I’m not reach enough to hire cheap people”
