G&C Tiles

G and C’s tile workmanship was beautifully performed and aesthetically pleasing. Arriving on time with a willingness to work allowed G and C to complete the task expeditiously. On budget and to my liking the floor and shower tiles which I supplied were installed accurately and professionally. I would recommend G and C’s Tiles and believe that any poor reviews could be a communication error or from something unrelated to workmanship quality or completion of the job. Thank you for your services , I will contact you with more work in the future.

Never showed and deferred to following week

Again deferred and when pressed suggested he would refund the deposit.

It is now Feb 13 2017 and still no deposit refund. Looks like we have been had.
Will likely respond that we delayed him so just making it clear that all missed install dates were him just not showing up at all.
Also operates as "Once Upon A Tile"

Giovanni started the project and promised to finish in 3 weeks with 4 people. He brought a few helpers (from Kijiji) who did not know much about tiling. He took almost 5 weeks & quit without any notice. After many phone calls, he finally emailed me that he had a life changing opportunity. (Hey - how about the honoring the contract??).

All the bathroom showers had the slopes wrong. I am getting them all redone.

Dealing with him has been a nightmare to say the least..

I had two small jobs for a tile setter – The laundry room and an open closet area. Giovanni came to house, appraised the situation, and provided a written quote. He double checked the amount of tile I would need for the job was correct, and we set a date for the project to begin. Because of my schedule changes, I needed him to start 2 hours earlier than we agreed – this wasn't a problem for Giovanni. He has great attitude.
He had to rip up all 'peel and stick' flooring and baseboards, then tile, and add tile baseboards.
The jobs were done expertly, the site was clean, and it looks amazing.
I would definitely use Giovanni again!

After getting a few other quotes ‘G&C Tile’ was around the price we hoped it would be, we had also been told by other companies that they would have to remove the skirting boards to do the job (this seemed a bit unnecessary to me, and maybe a reason to bump up the cost). Giovanni was great to deal with, no mess, no fuss, no skirting board removal, job done in 2 days, and we are very happy with end result. I will recommend him for sure.

Giovanni is true to his word, excellent work and on time. We had Quartz tiles installed on Ditra. The floor is perfectly smooth and he used his expertise to minimize wasteage from cutting. Giovanni is a pro in his business and takes no shortcuts.

We needed to install a marble mosaic floor and backsplash. Giovanni did an amazing job getting this done. He took care when laying the tiles and completed the job on time. He takes great pride in his work and wants you to be happy with the results.
