Excellent product and professional installation for a great price.We had been looking around for a few months prior to finding Ecotech online.Many other companies gave quotes but did not give in depth details of what type of windows should be considered ,what was needed and what they would be doing for example a fairly well known windows company tried to sell us retro fit winfows ...a cheaper option but our windows were in dire need as the frames were rotten retro fit leaves the frames in and replaces windows only ...which I had no idea about until a representative from Ecotech came in and explained the whole process and products we might consider.The installers came on time when expected ,were very polite and professional and have done an excellent job ,the windows are beautiful ,my wife is extremely happy with the job ,I would most definetly recommend Ecotech and we will only be using Echotech for our future projects

We found Ecotech on Google. When we called they scheduled an appointment for the next day. Phil came out to see us and was very helpful in choosing styles that fit our decor. He gave us a very good deal and we signed the contract right on the spot. When Vadim the installer came to do the measurement for production we showed him our basement window that had the vent for the dryer in it. He said it would be no problem to reinstall it. A few days later someone from the Ecotech office called us to schedule our installation. Everything was very quick the Vadim and his helper were very clean with there work and we are very happy. They reinstalled our dryer vent into the window and it looks amazing I have recommended Phil, Vadim and Ecotech to 2 of my friends already and I will recommend more.

Mark did an excellent job replacing all windows of my home. The product and services Mark provided are exceptional. Now my homes energy bill is much lower. We are so happy about the service and price. Mark is a customer oriented, very responsible and can be trusted. I definitely will recommend him to my friends.

My experience with EcoTech was flawless. My initial phone call to Nicole was promptly directed to Mark in sales and he knowledgeably discussed a variety of options to suit the project. An in-home appointment was arranged with Guy. He arrived on time, presented samples of the windows, took measurements, estimated the cost and was extremely helpful in the final decision in choosing the best windows to suit my needs. After a brief discussion an excellent price was arrived at. Guy then arranged an appointment with Momo. Momo arrived on time and quickly took all of the measurements, discussed my preference as to how the windows would open and placed the final order. I received a call from Nicole at Head Office and the installation was arranged for a date earlier than I had expected possible. Momo called as the windows were ready, set the time and showed up on time with his crew. They all worked quickly and tirelessly and all 18 windows were installed that day. Momo is a great asset. I couldn't have asked for a more cooperative, personable and capable fellow. After the job was finished they removed all of the debris, the house was back in order and I now had beautiful windows. My hat's off to everyone at EcoTech, they simply could not have done a better job and the price was excellent.

We interviewed many companies before hiring EcoTech. We decided to go with them because they were very knowledgable, did not put any pressure on us and took the time to answer all of our questions. We are very happy with our choice. They were reliable, respectable of our house and had great follow up. When we had an issue a few months laters they came to fix it right away with no charge. I highly recommend this company.

Our experience;

We were told by our salesman that Ecotech manufacture their own windows, which we found out later isn’t true.

Ecotech stood us up on 3 separate occasions without so much as a phone call. This seems very unprofessional in my opinion

The installers did a sloppy job and we questioned them on their work while they were here the first time, we were told there was nothing they could do. The owner had to send him back out to correct the work that wasn’t completed properly the first time (i.e. holes in the caulking, screws that weren’t screwed in all the way etc.)

The owner was willing to send an installer out for a 3rd time to correct improper workmanship. We declined this offer however, so we could be done with this company, as it has been over 3 months since signing the agreement with them to have two windows and one door installed.

We are left with a door that has multiple draughts (which we were told was “normal”).

We also noticed a dent in the door; however, they denied all responsibility for this.

We have found Ecotech to be extremely unprofessional; the owner lost his temper and threatened to pull the warranty on the windows. He asked for the remaining balance before the job was completed, etc.

The windows themselves are nice and the price was competitive, however, we wouldn’t use Ecotech again due the aforementioned problems we incurred.

Contacted Ecotech on November 4 to inquire. They sent an estimator to my property on November 5, and we came to an agreement on the pricing for 14 windows and the patio door replacement. I had requested rush order & installation since I was planning to move in on December 1. Note was made on the invoice and I was told I will be contacted regarding installation date.

I had to contact Ecotech since it was getting very close to the planned move-in date, and the lady answering the phone could not confirm my installation date. She said she will contact my sales representative to confirm the date - I did get a call from my sales guy, but he said the earliest date possible would be December 12.
Not a huge issue, since my washroom renovations were delayed and I had to revise my move-in date anyway, but it would have been a better experience if someone had contacted me to let me know instead of having to call in. To their credit, someone did contact me on the 11th to confirm the installation date.

The installation day came, the installers were in the house at around 9:30 am. Finished everything by 3:30 pm, I got off work early to go inspect the work and pay the balance of the invoice. Quality work on everything, the only thing I noticed was they left some debris from the old windows on my roof above the garage. I'm hoping it wouldn't clog my eavestrough until I get a chance to shop-vac the debris from the second floor windows.

Anyhow, the delay in installation was understandable since everyone was trying to get windows replaced before temperatures drop further. Their windows and doors are top-notch and the casement windows open 90 degrees for ease of cleaning. Screens also pop out easily and the interior vinyl trim around the windows are very easy to clean and virtually maintenance free.

I would recommend Ecotech, just make sure you get everything in writing and try to book well in advance of October / November for a smoother process.
