Furnace & Air conditioning unit

I felt lucky to hire Aire One to replace my old furnace & air conditioning unit. It was not easy to select a right one from many suppliers. The job is done neatly per the code with high level professional services ( Foreman name Nick). Job is nicely done! thanks.

Diagnostic for a Air Conditioner Repaur

What a horrible company to deal with. They came to diagnose my ac and as a result unplugged certain components of the ac that were functioning properly. In addition, beware of this company they will get you to replace perfectly good components. The management team at the mississauga location is horrible and head office is just as bad. Horrible company to deal with. There are many companies that are more professional and use licenced technicians.

Company Response

This customer is a perfect example of why homeowners should not attempt to repair HVAC units on their own, unless they are licensed to do so. The Aire One technician tested the A/C and determined that the fan motor needed to be replaced. This is all that he did. The customer decided to try to save money and bought his own motor and attempted to replace it himself (after a lengthy conversation, he admitted this to us). However he was unable to install it correctly and called us back to fix it. We were ready to send a technician for another service call fee (which we felt was fair since we were going there a second time to fix his mistake) but he refused to pay. This is why he wrote this inaccurate review of our company. Its unfortunate that some people feel the need to tell lies when they don't get their way but that's exactly what has happened in this instance. Aire One takes pride in its work, and will always act quickly to rectify any issues with its service and/or installations. However in this case, Aire One did not change the fan motor, the customer did it himself, and therefore has only himself to blame for the A/C not working.

furnace/AC

I have been a customer of aireone for almost 4 years now, I trust them to perform my annual maintenance/inspection their service technicians are very experienced and knowledgeable. They do a very thorough check and it seems to work because I havent had a break down in the middle of winter even though my equipment was over 17 years old. I recently decided that it was time to get with the times and replace my equipment and although I was confident in this company, some friends told me to shop around. It was a waste of time because nobody could offer me the high end equipment at the price they did. The sales rep also helped me understand what all the commotion is about with all the different types of furnaces these days.. I ended up getting a modulating one.. I no longer have the annoying temperature fluctuations I did before and I wish I had upgraded my equipment long ago.. better late than never I guess! I would highly recommend Aireone

Furnace Repair emergency

Early March our heat went. Called Air One of Peel. The service rep came and declared furnace dying, can't be repaired and insisted we let them install a new furnace. Took second opinion which revealed the cause was blocked water drainage tube blocked. Furnace running great after cleaning. We almost fell for their Absolute Dishonety.

Company Response

Brij, thank you for taking the time to write this review as we appreciate any and all feedback from our customers. However there are a couple of issues to address with regards to your comments. The first is that you failed to mention that before our technician left your home, he got your furnace up and running and provided you with heat. This is our main priority when responding to "no heat" service calls and our technician achieved that. He also check the furnace drain line and it was clear at that time; had it not been, the furnace would not have worked. He suspected that the problem had to do with the gas valve and he mentioned this to you. He also said that the furnace could stop working again at any time. This is why he RECOMMENDED that you consider replacing your 15 year old furnace, which leads to the second issue with your review. Aire One understands that its customers are the ones who hold the power and make the decisions rather than the other way around. As such, all our sales people and technicians would never INSIST that a customer make a purchase, as you stated, but instead they only make recommendations. At the end of the day, you the customer, has the control to make the final decision. In any case, we believe our technician did his job properly; he provided you with heat, and recommended that you replace your furnace. There was no dishonesty involved in his actions, as you claimed. It is unfortunate that you were not happy with our service as we always strive for complete customer satisfaction. It would have been nice to speak with you first regarding your dissatisfaction prior to your writing of this review. You had this opportunity when we placed a follow up call to you but your wife never mentioned anything to us at that time. Perhaps we would have been able to come to an understanding and figured out a resolution. Feel free to call us anytime 905-564-8545 if you have any further questions, comments, or concerns.

New Furnace-AC

Beware when you purchase from this company. We decided to invest in a new furnace and air conditioning unit in 2008. We chose Aire One only because it was what turned up when we looked on line. They were great at selling and happy to install. The first year after installation, we used them for furnace maintenance. We did not like the technician who came to the house nor did we find the company particularly responsive. The following year, we decided to try another heating and cooling company who had excellent reviews. Yesterday, the technician found a leak from the exhaust vent and said it was likely due to the person who installed it not putting enough glue. He recommended replacing the exhaust vent and suggested I contact Aire One through the warranty as the furnace came with a 10 year warranty on parts and labor. I called Aire One, and was basically lectured by the guy I spoke with asking why I decided to go with another company for maintenance and that my warranty was null in void because I chose another company to maintain the furnace. I explained the problem to them and his answer was: well, they (other company) should have just glued it. What do you want me to do about it? I found this very unprofessional and called back to make a complaint only to be told that I was speaking to the owner of the company. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

Company Response

Thank you for your on line review.
You declined us to come back to perform a proper maintenance which includes the venting and a 22 points safety check and cleaning .
The fact that venting did not leak for 6 years since original installations would indicate that the company that services your furnace now, may have created this issue. We got even more suspicious when you mentioned to us that the service technician wanted to charge you a lot of money to reroute your existing venting unnecessarily!!!

We take a lot of prided in servicing our clients, and we would welcome the opportunity to service your equipment.

Please call us if we can be of any further assistance.

Infinity Service & Infinity AC

Excellent experience from the sales visit right through to the install. I have nothing negative to say. The install was done fast too; they showed up and got right to it. Before I knew it my old equipment was outta there. The job was meticulously neat as well. Every cable tied, every pipe secured. These guys pay attention to the details. I have the utmost confidence in recommending them. On top of all that, I feel I got a great price.

Furnace

PJ, from Aire One, has helped me and my family with a number of projects. My grandfather was stuck without heat and he came right away and had a furnace installed same day. My sister bought a new house and they did a fantastic job. I was doing a renovation and he was there to help. PJ is amazing. He is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about products and services. He always gives us a great deal and is backed by a very good company, I highly recommend PJ for any project you are considering.
