Moving

My husband and I moved from Oromocto NB to Winnipeg MB. We had several complications with getting our stuff to us and had to live in our home without our stuff for quite awhile. Finally, after writing a horrible review I got the manager of customer services to contact me. She helped us out in getting our stuff here and a $700.00 discount for being so late. The people that handled us at the Royal Van Lines desks were kind and understanding, but the company definately needs to focus on getting their schedules intact and be on the same page. Customers want their stuff fast and efficiently as well as have good service. You have the good service down, just work on your trucks getting our stuff here when you say.

Moving

My husband I were moving from NB to MB. We had a sudden death in the family which resulted us in cancelling our first pick up with them (which they failed to inform us we didn't need to be at our home for pick up). They then told us they would be picking up our stuff on the 3rd of August, my husband I rushed home from our Funeral in BC to be in NB to pack the remainder of our stuff to find out they aren't coming till August 7th-10th. My husband and I had to be in MB in our new house by the 8th of August so they finally told us we didn't need to be there for pick up and we gave our landlord our keys and phone number n' such. We made it to NB on the 8th by car to an empty house.
Royal Vanlines said they will give you at least 24 hours notice before they show up for pick up and drop off, they failed to do that because they called my husband wanting in our apartment on the 12th (2 days late then we were told) without informing my landlord they were almost there and my landlord was at work. So they tried getting us to pay for the hotel they had to stay in for that night till the landlord got home the next day, which (I AM NOT PAYING FOR!).
I called the company on the 13th to find out our stuff wont be here till the 25th-30th of August. Which is a very long time since we are living in an empty house. Our next door neighbors have even been asking us if we are moving from Germany to here because our stuff has taken so long to get here! It is ridiculous.
My husband just called them (now the 27th of August) and they said their truck still hasn't left Toronto yet!!! Due to pure disorganization I would never ever ever go with this company again and never suggest this company to anyone. I am expecting some huge discounts for this poor service.
