Executive Home Inspections Ltd

I did 2 inspections with Ron, one in December, 2013, and one in March, 2014. I can unequivocally recommend Ron of the Executive Home Inspections to anyone looking for an inspection of a house in Edmonton area (or anywhere Ron goes too). Here is the summary of my experience:
1) Ron was always coming a little early, so by the time I arrive Ron completed exterior review
2) Ron is very thorough; he checks every single detail and spots any imperfection I would personally never notice.
3) For each thing Ron checks, he can explain in plain English what he checks, what he is looking for, what he founds. Moreover, he can suggest options on what should be done.
4) I had home inspections before, but Ron is a step ahead with his infrared camera, moisture meter, and other bells and whistles
5) Ron is very accurate, and covers floor every time he puts a stepladder
6) Ron is going a step beyond what a home inspector would do. For example, he pointed out trees with fungus in the backyard.
7) Ron does not limit time, and inspects everything until finished.
8) Ron provides the report instantly; he can print it at the spot, or save it to a cute home-shaped USB key

Last but not least, Ron is a nice guy, and it is a pleasure talking to him.

Ron's reports helped me to understand better what I am buying, and served as a leverage in negotiating the final price.

I hired Executive Home Inspections Ltd. when I was looking to buy a newer home. Ron met me at the home right on time and proceeded to do the inspection after he gave the current owner and me a brief overview of what he would be looking at. I walked with Ron and he explained a few issues he had found during the inspection, we went over the report in detail afterwards. The report was very thorough and included many pictures; this was also handy when moving in as it showed the current condition and any major damage. Ron was even available after the purchase to answer any questions. The homeowner was so impressed with Ron that he used him on his new purchase. Since my inspection, I have recommended Ron too many of my friends, family, and coworkers and they have all been exceptionally happy and have also recommended him.

Before moving into our current home in Fort Saskatchewan, we needed a professional to ensure we were making a sound purchase. We enlisted the help of Executive Home Inspections. Ron was very thorough in his evaluation of the house. He was courteous and respectful of our time and allowed me to walk through the inspection with him. He looked at areas I would have never thought to look and turned everything he could on, off, checked the house from top to bottom. He even crawled underneath the deck and went as far as to inspect the screws used on the base of the deck (which were drywall screws and recommended to be replaced). At the end of the inspection he took the time to go through each point with myself and my wife in as much detail as we asked. He provided a soft copy of the inspection on a USB drive and was more than willing to answer any questions at any time in the future. I was very impressed with Ron's work and in the time we have been in the house, we have finished the basement and nothing unexpected has come up due in no small part to his thoroughness. I would (and have) recommended Executive Home Inspections and will again.
