Dan came to our house to inspect and service an infloor heating system that was installed by another HVAC contractor who had been affiliated with my general contractor for a major home reno but that HVAC company in retrospect had very little experience with hydronic systems and was terrible to work with in terms of personality of their technicians and knowledge of the system that they had installed. Dan stopped a humming that had been present since initial installation, advised on an improved option for thermostatic control and educated me on many aspects of our system where the original contractor had failed. If I had it to do again, I would have brought them in for the initial installation as well...but better late than never that I have found them now.

We contacted the Hydronics Team about a year ago after our original heating contractor refused to return our calls and left us in a bad spot. Almost instantly after meeting with Darryl and Mark we felt confident we found the right company to finish off where our other contractor left off. They provided us a detailed multiple page estimate based of what we wanted and what was already installed. Mark was able to make some design changes compared to the original design and increase our system efficiency. By the time the house was done, the project was on budget and finished on schedual. The work the technicians did is top notch. Everyone who worked on my house was clean, polite and very respectful. The copper work the team installed looks impressive even know I don't fully understand it all. My mechanical room looks like the basement of an industrial building! Compared to our original contractor and some of the other quotes we got, The Hydronics Team was on the high end of the prices but I think they are well worth the extra cost - these guys are pros. Plus, they were on budget, I don't know if the other low bids would have been on budget.

I will be calling Darryl to schedual my annual service and I will be recommending them to my sister when she starts a renovation this summer.

I contacted Mark after our boiler was red tagged on a routine service from another company. He was quick to respond and his operations manager, Darryl, was a pleasure to deal with. Dan and Ian did an excellent job with the install of a new high efficiency boiler. They were on time, professional, very courteous, in and out in a day and left the area spotless. I will be using them for the annual maintenance going forward. Highly recommend.

I was having issues with my hot water. I was refereed to The Hydronics Team through Tim Rickards. They were able to determine that the mix valve had failed. Replacing the mix valve was a cheaper repair than I had been quoted over the phone by other companies. I'm very happy I called the Hydronics Team who fixed the right part and didn't charge me for an expensive repair I didn't need to do!

I would like to thank Darryl and Tim very much for sending such a nice gentleman to my home and fixing the NTI water tank.

The Hydronics Team completed annual maintenance on my boiler system (cleaning and tests) and replaced all the broken bleeder valves on the radiators throughout my home.

Not only were the technicians knowledgeable and very good at their job; but also extremely courteous and clean.

Definitely a company that goes above and beyond what is expected. I would recommend them to others, and will definitely use them again in the future.

I had a door hanger advertisement arrive at my door in mid June. I called the guys up at the Hydronics Team and was able to speak to the Mark Strangways. He explained to me how his distributer was offering him a discount and that he was forwarding this discount onto his clients. I asked around and found out that he personally has a great reputation in the industry and has been around since 1998. Since I needed a new boiler I figured I would take advantage of this opportunity.

His guys were able to make an appointment that worked for me. They were in and out in 1 day and cleaned up very well. I don't normally write reviews online, but Mark and his crew really impressed me. They are a small company, so I know any only exposure helps.

I met Patrick Scantlebury at the home show almost a year ago before we even had purchased our home, and he was provided lots of information and options about radiant heating systems. Many months later Patrick responded to a request for a pre-purchase visit to assess the basement and furnace issues. He outlined different options at various price points including radiant floor heating with a concrete topping. Patrick drew diagrams explaining how the system would work and provided a quote specifying the exact equipment and services to be provided. He was very responsive to questions and took care to ensure that I understood how the system would work and what to expect. The crew carried out the work in a polite, professional, and friendly way. Patrick dropped by several times to confirm that the work was progressing well and fine tuned the details along the way. The crew continued to follow up after the darotopp concrete was in to ensure that the heat was on and the control zones all worked. Patrick stopped by at the end for a final review and ensured that I got the receipt confirming the return of the rental water heater.

I was very impressed by Patrick's total transparency about the options available and all of his support to enable us to make an informed decision. The Hydronics Team followed through all the way to completion, and even beyond by helping to troubleshoot a minor problem caused by other renovations.
