Carpentry at its Best renovated our kitchen and main floor area. The project involved removal of walls and complete reconstruction of the kitchen. Niall and his team were consummate craftsmen, incredibly pleasant and responsive, and often provided invaluable design advice. Niall is extremely conscientious and is passionate about achieving a very high quality result. You will not be disappointed. We have recommended Niall and team to all our neighbours and friends and we will be going back to them in future when additional projects are planned.

Our cedar deck was rotting and needed to be completely rebuilt.

We obtained three quotes via HomeStars and went with Carpentry At Its Best because of the outstanding quality of their work.

The team did a great job of building the new deck over a couple of days and taking away the old one, leaving no debris at all.

Niall and his team redid our fence, added a deck to our backyard spanning the entire width of the yard, and then returned to subsequently redo our front porch and steps. We're very happy with the quality and attention to detail. Niall got the job done quickly, on time (if there was any delay of even a few hours he explained why) and for the price agreed. We would definitely use him again.

My husband and I hired Niall and his team to renovate our home. The scope of work was large and we were investing a lot into our home, so it was critical for us to find a contractor that had extensive experience and someone who we felt we could trust with our investment. Another important factor for us was having someone who would not only project manage our job, but also roll up their sleeves and do the work themselves. We were able to check off all of the boxes in our initial meeting with Niall.
Our renovation started in January of 2020 and was scheduled to be completed in 6 months. Even with the global pandemic, Niall delivered on his promise of completing the job on time. We believe his industry experience and knowledge helped us navigate through some difficult situations that the pandemic posed on our job.

Nail and his team did a fantastic job. They were punctual, professional, tidy, and safe. We have two young kids, and they put their safety first every step of the way. All team members were very pleasant and polite. Nail offered a few solutions we had not considered and other builders did not even mention. There was no upselling or attempts to generate more business. The quality of workmanship is some of the best we have seen. Looking forward to working with them on future projects.
