Ali from Direct Electric was very easy to deal with and to set up a date for the work. He showed up on time and was great about letting us know he was on his way, which was very reassuring.
He wired in a bath fan in a tricky location, quickly replaced a ceiling light fixture, and moved and installed several switches for us. All the work was handled very professionally and with care, and explained thoroughly.
Direct Electric did great work and was great to deal with.

Ali came promptly -2 days aftrer I contacted him. We had gotten a recommendation for Ali from two of our neighbours. He got down to business right away. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, told us exactly what he was doing and why, and tidied up after the work was done. He identified a significant problem with the wiring in our bathroom and fixed it. We felt his fee was entirely appropriate f or the time involved and the work done. I will be calling him again.

Ali came promptly to fix the switch and the wiring that my handyman had installed on my roofdeck. He brought it up to code and it's now protected from the elements. I will definitely call on his services again.

I called Ali for a problem I had in my kitchen, my range hood fan an one outlet stopped working after I connected the microwave and the fan at the same time. He came the next day.
He found the problem (which was an incorrect installation done by previous kitchen renovation) and was able to find a solution until I can do a whole kitchen renovation and rewiring.

Reached out to Ali one afternoon and he was willing to come by within 3 hours. Ended up messaging and speaking with him so he came early the next morning on time. Was able to repair the issue within an hour by replacing all the affected outlets and circuit breaker, with improved parts.

Ali came to my house last Saturday to add a new circuit breaker. He was on time and explain everything that needed to be done. This was a very old house and Ali knew exactly how to run the wire through the basement ceiling to the electrical box. Ali did a great job and I would recommend him for any electrical job.

Ali is prompt and professional. The previous general contractor made a mess of the wiring in the kitchen when we removed a kitchen wall. I cancelled the electrical contract with our previous contractor and called Ali, he showed up in 30 minutes, spent 6 hours redoing the wiring in the kitchen and explained everything and made sure everything was compliant and met the electrical code standard.
I had to call Ali again to do electrical wiring in my garage for my EV and he did the sub-panel wiring for the EV and installed a 240 volt receptacle in the garage.
He also helped us fix a major power outage at home, the main breaker was old and malfunctioned, he arrived the next day, arranged emergency ESA inspection and got the utility company to disconnect and reconnect.
I’ve recommended him to my friends and colleagues and everyone has had a positive experience with his work snd I highly recommend him for any electrical work.

I took a chance by finding an electrician on Google and I was extremely fortunate! Ali is a true professional whose work is outstanding.
