Ali from Direct Electric installed a 240 volt outlet in my laundry room/basement and upgraded my electric panel. This was my first time using Direct Electric and I was in need of another electrician as my previous one was no longer available. Ali came the next day after I called him and did an incredibly thorough job assessing the situation and making the installation with minimal cuts to the drywall. He thoroughly explained his work, was extremely courteous and professional, and took the amount of time needed to do a complete and careful job. His work came in exactly at the estimate and he even offerred a discount at the end. I will be using Ali for all my future electrical needs and cannot praise him highly enough. I will surely recommend him to anyone I know who needs electrical work done.

We used Direct Electric to replace a light timer and repair some electrical outlets. Ali was very professional and even identified some problems with our connections of which we were unaware. We would not hesitate to recommend Direct for home electrical repairs and installations.

Once again Ali came through. He replaced my panel and fished wire down four floors of an old Victorian home in order to install ductless air conditioning. And it wasnt easy!

We needed a dedicated circuit wired in for a new washing machine. Ali was available in short notice and did a great job to get the circuit set up without having to do a lot of wall cuts in our older house. We have hired Ali before and would do so again.

I am very happy with the services that Ali provided for my family’s home. We had serval wall outlets that had burnt out, and we could not replace the outlets on our own. Ali came over promptly after I called him. I did not do a good job of explaining the issue, but Ali was patient and repaired 4 outlets and 2 switches.

Ali came promptly -2 days aftrer I contacted him. We had gotten a recommendation for Ali from two of our neighbours. He got down to business right away. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, told us exactly what he was doing and why, and tidied up after the work was done. He identified a significant problem with the wiring in our bathroom and fixed it. We felt his fee was entirely appropriate f or the time involved and the work done. I will be calling him again.
