LIBERTY WILDLIFE REMOVAL

Called the company to get an estimate due to an issue with mice around our home. We described that there are in front and back and would like to have someone come over and install some boxes. I was told the job is guaranteed for 6 months, and that if there are any mice during this time, the person will come to fill in more poison.

A guy came and he said that he will install a box in the back and if I want another one in the front I have to pay double. I asked about the phone call with the assistant and he mentioned he did not know why I was told that and that the price is what he said.

I asked to maybe split the poison between 2 boxes, one in front and one in back, and this was not what he wanted either.

When asked about the 6 months guarantee I was told on the phone, he said he cannot do this, and he can come back if I pay $175 to refill the box.

Long behold, that winter I had mouse tracks everywhere, the summer after I setup traps and caught many myself. This being said, I am not sure what kind of poison was used as it didn't have much effect.

Bait and Switch is what they used and that is why they have these Home Star reviews.

Stay away, or make sure you get in writing what they promise, before Rocco or any other technician shows up.

We went with this company as we needed wasp nests sprayed. Rocco the owner was nice when we spoke to him and said he has a guarantee for 6 months if the wasps come back in the same spot. He had someone go to the house and spray and and then called us saying it would be more money since the wasps are coming from two holes.

A few weeks later we still had an issue with wasps so we called back. We left a message asking to be called back and had to call many times and from different numbers to get a response. We called every day for a week asking for the guy to go back and finally someone came and said that it was a different spot the wasps were coming from which is not true at all. He refused to spray the same spot for us and when we spoke to Rocco he kept laughing at us saying we were wrong and then hung up the phone on us. He is so rude and should not be trusted! I really wish I saw these home star reviews before hiring his company.

Absolutely unbelievable. They responded quite quickly to my call and removed the nest, before they left I asked if there was a warrantee if the wasps came back, they said yes, 6 months. Well in less than a month they started to rebuild.

I called several times and they kept saying someone will get back to me. The last time I called the woman simply hung up on me and then refused to answer my phone call after that. I do not like giving bad reviews, but this takes the cake, they left me no choice.

Avoid these people like the plague!! BAD, BAD customer service. If they had done the job properly in the first place maybe the bees would not have returned!!

We called Empire about bed bugs at a rental property and the tenants at our property set up marbles to see if these guys would actually move furniture to spray for bed bugs - and they did not. They have now come there three separate times, going by more than one name, and charged us for each visit the same, despite supposedly having a "guarantee". Compared to two other professional outfits, the time they spent spraying was under 1/3. I can never get an invoice after payment, even though I have called and talked to someone over 10 times in 14 days. They either never answer, reply, or call back. Often I have to be texting "Rocky" at the number. I would never use this company again, just unprofessional.

They sent a guy to spray the ventilator fan on Oct 14th, 2020 and gave me a 6 month warranty. On March 20th, 2021, I found the same type of wasp from the same ventilator fan.
When I called the customer service, I was asked to send a photo of the wasp. After 1.5 days, I had to call back and the "boss" calls me back and tells me it is not within the 6 month warranty. He starts counting the months and as he realizes it is within the warranty period, he hangs up on me and texts me instead.
Tells me it is a diff type of wasp and I have to pay an additional $125 + tax
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. they will not guarantee any work they do and very bad customer service.

Rocco sprayed the exterior of my home in June, took 15 mins tops and said I would see no more Ants and Spiders. I told him to concentrate on pool deck, front and back porch. I paid him fully for service and called him back this past week to advise that we had more spiders and Ants now than ever. His response was that of 100 calls, I am the first to complain and suddenly phone was disconnected. I called back said I'm sure it was an innocent mistake to get disconnected since it only went to voicemail. Left my name, number and address and asked for him to drop by to see for himself and/or call me back. It has been a week and no response. My neighbour's was done as well and they are not happy either. Clearly he is not concerned with his product or customer satisfaction.

Every year I have the exterior of my house sprayed to prevent incursion of carpenter ants. These guys' quote was cheaper than the other 2 companies I've used over the last 10 years. BUT !!!!!! The other guys both send someone who sprays most of the siding, soaks it around the door and windowframes and lots around the foundation. This guy dribbled a tiny stream around where the house meets the ground. He wasn't even wearing a mask, that's how little he was spraying.

He SAID he sprayed around the doors and windows but it wasn't even wet up there when he left. The other guys' used to say 'wait a couple hours for it to dry', this company left nothing there TO dry. I'd expect a pest control company to know that ants can climb up trees and drop onto the roof, so more than just a little line at ground level is needed to keep them from finding a way in. It's obvious I have lots of trees near the house. I am really disappointed with this service, compared to the 10 other years this has been done, I don't feel at all confident that it will do anything. The savings was NOT worth it. I foresee having to get them back in a month or so when the ants move in, and what a pain to have to call them back for something that should be done better the first time.

ADDENDUM: The company tried to say "wrong company" on my honest review, to avoid responsibility. I have the receipt, Homestars verified it, so now I think EVEN LESS of these guys, because they could have simply said, "sorry we'll try harder next time" or such, but instead they tried to pretend I was mistaken. As if they couldn't check their own records and see the truth for themselves. Shame on you.

In January 2019, Empire Installed 7 steel cages and 1 one way door on the roof to remove squirrels. The work was under warranty for 4 years. Called in January 2020 for a recurring squirrel problem.
Two calls on same day with no response within 8 hrs. though their 24/7 service promises to call within 2 mins. it’s been over 6 weeks and Empire have never once returned my January call.

I have since hired a very reputable company who have resolved the squirrel problem. They identified that Empire did a sloppy job, failed to return to remove the one way door, which allowed the squirrels to get in again, and also failed to seal off the screws in the roof.

Empire then had the gall to post under my review that I was not a customer. At my request, HomeStars has removed this false accusation.

Empire is only interested in overcharging you for sloppy workmanship. There is absolutely no follow up or guarantee. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. BE VERY CAREFUL TO CHECK THE COMPANY NAME
