Josh at Even Cut Tree Services provide prompt and courteous service cutting several trees. The site was cleaned up afterwards at a very reason price. I would definitely use him again.

We had our trees cut in August 2020 and paid CASH one thousand dollars, they promised to finish the job they left tree trunks and branches in front of our house for weeks, never came back had to call another company to Take away. Definitely never never recommend them

Bobby at Even Cut tells me he took over the business a short while ago. He pruned and removed trees from my backyard, however I got a call from a Bylaw officer a few days later saying that our arborist left wood and debris at the end of the laneway behind our house. Bobby tells me that they ran out of room in the truck and had to dump some wood in the back (but didn't inform me). After promises to pick it up immediately, and many calls and texts from me, he became totally unresponsive. Meanwhile, neighbors are complaining and the bylaw officer is calling. After blocking my phone number I get through to him and he hands me off to his foreman, Rocco, who promises to come by immediately. Again, he totally ghosts me. Now I am paying another tree company hundreds of dollars to come dispose of the huge mess they left. I guess Even Cut didn't want to pay the dumping fees that were part of the job.

As per the agreement the company was supposed to remove the stump on August 15 but now they has turned down the offer saying it can’t be done. I paid $500 out of the agreed amount of $600 to cut the tree and remove the stump. the receipt was not provided I want Even cut Ltd to follow up and reply me back.

Josh is extremely knowledgeable and knows exactly what needs to be done to remove trees safely. He seems to be very experienced and friendly. Tree removal was done safely, but clean up was not done to my satisfaction, even though that was included in the contract. Infact there were many branches left on the pavement outside the house that they did not clear, that they failed to tell me. Overall, the work was done well but was disappointed that they did not keep their word. Would recommend with the caveat that you are present with the workers to demand they complete everything that they signed for, and supervise every minute.

Recently our 40 year old plus Norway maple lost a large limb that came crashing down onto our driveway damaging one of our vehicles. Upon inspection we found that the tree itself was in bad shape and was going to have to be removed. We got quotes from six different companies, all of them agreeing that the tree was an imminent hazard.

We decided to go with Even Cut trees, mainly because of the price. After having talked with all of the different companies, we felt that Even Cut was as professional, but much cheaper. Yesterday they came and in a matter of hours the work was done and left clean. They were also both friendly and professional, explaining what was going to be done and why it was being done the way it was. Couldn’t have been happier and would heartily recommend them for any tree work that you need done.

Josh and his team did a great job cleaning up two of our mature trees that had not been very well maintained before we moved in. They thinned out some of the branches, tidied up the canopy, and cleaned up after, leaving everything looking spic and span. We were not home when the work was completed, but they did exactly what we wanted without any other direction besides a quick chat about what we needed done. We also appreciate the knowledge and advice Josh gave us about our trees and will definitely call on them again should we need any tree pruning or maintenance in the future. Very good and quick communication as well. Would recommend!

Great service, dependable and easy to deal with.

Josh and Jason just completed a second job for me. This time I hired them to remove a large dead tree and trim some overgrown branches on a number of large maples. They completed the job in a timely manner and ensured the property was cleaned up afterwards. They were very knowledgeable and communicated the progress of the job in a timely manner. I would definitely hire them again, already recommended them to my friends.
