The Astonia team were consumate professionals. They literally transformed my backyard (which was essentially a wasteland) into a beautiful garden oasis in the city! I am thrilled with the outcome. James quickly picked up on what I was looking for and was very helpful providing guidance and suggestions with respect to the plan. He and his team were very effecient and they were on time and on budget ! The entire team was very hardworking, extremely courteous and checked in with me throughout the process. When I needed some help picking up some additional planting material, they were happy to help me and they patiently worked with me while I made final decisions on what plants I wanted where. My garden is the envy of my neighbours and I will enjoy it for years to come. I would highly recommend Astonia to anyone and I will certainly call on them again if and when I ever move to another home! (NOTE: the fence needs to be painted but that wasn't part of the job!)

I was searching for a reputable company amongst many that we're advertised, I received a quote from astonia and was impressed with there profetionalism they arrived on time were neat and respectful of my property while the work was being done. The job was completed on time and there were no surprises, they guaranteed the price even though they ran in to unexpected space problems they managed to get the job done and not once did they ask me for additional funds. When the job was completed they took my wife and I for an inspection. Asked if we were 100% satisfied, and then handed us the bill for the balance. I appreciated that. They were making sure we were happy with everything first. I would highly recommend them for any job big or small they deffinately know what there doing and stand by there work! And I did get them to do some work at my mothers house aswell!

As a previous & repeat client, we selected Astonia to execute our plans for a major landscaping project, transforming our simple backyard into useful and relaxing space amongst a natural setting that will bring us many years of pleasure. Installation of Armour stone , patio stone and walkway was preceded by attention to drainage challenges, ground levelling and the movement/care of existing mature trees. Astonia's work once again exceeded our expectations and the backyard project is a huge success! The backyard is amazingly landscaped and the existing trees we’ve grown fond of were able to all be salvaged and relocated within the property.

Since then, several of our friends and neighbours have had Astonia performe their landscaping projects, all of whom have experienced the same level of professional, dedicated and excellent work. Astonia poured a concrete bottom step and landing for the front of our new house and covered it in flagstone. When it didn't hold up over its first winter, I expected a response much different than the one we received. Dealing with them over the next couple of years ended up being the WORST customer experience I have ever had. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. It isn't worth it.

The representative from Astonia sounded great when he sold us on a beautiful, high quality, stone covered step that would be solid as a rock for the entire time we owned our house.

The new step cracked away from the rest of the steps during the first winter. From that point on things were totally different. We found his e-mails back to us rude, dismissive and nasty. He blamed frost for the damage and claimed no responsibility.

I think it is reasonable to expect that exterior work done in Ontario should be able to withstand winter. If we had been told that there was a good chance the step wouldn't make it through one winter, we would have spent our money elsewhere!

I have finally given up. Paying someone else to re-build the step isn't great, but it is better than dealing with Astonia any longer.

Extremely poor quality service and nasty attitude when called back for warranty repair work. Complained to BBB and they only fixed a small area of the problem. Stones are now loose and falling off the stairs and the mortar is crumbling so badly that the area is dangerous and cannot be used. Contractor is very rude on the phone. When reached via email they make appointments they don't keep Only recourse might be to take legal actions. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE, EVEN MY WORST ENEMY. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!
To make it worse, they scammed a senior citzen (my widowed Mother).
