Reliance The Furnace Company Edmonton

I went with this company for two reasons (1) because they installed a furnace at my mom's house (which she loves YEARS later) and (2) because of an excellent consultation and quote with Dave L. My experience couldn't have been more positive. The installers (Aaron and Tyler) went above and beyond to install the equipment (furnace, air conditioner, water tank and water softener) quickly and properly. They even ensured that I knew how to set up and maintain the equipment before they left. I would recommend this company and the great professional staff that they employ with no hesitation.

Our experience with reliance the furnace company was excellent. Corey our home comfort advisor was knowledgable and friendly. He answered all off our questions regarding the replacement of our two furnaces. He gave us several options and helped us choose the furnaces that best suited our house. Our install was scheduled for two days later. Ross and Jared showed up to install the new furnaces. They went through the entire procedure before they started so that we felt comfortable. By the afternoon we had two new furnaces installed and one working for the night. The next day they finished up the installation and had everything cleaned up by noon. After they showed us the new equipment and how everything worked. They were both professional, courteous and knoweldgable. Thanks so much for a fast and painless process.

I met Nathan Mclellan (Reliance employee) when my tub was plugged. He was extremely knowledgable and friendly. He advised me to get the monthly plan and I am glad I did. I required more plumbing services and a furnace inspection as well. Nathan did both for me and my cost that day ended up to be $0. I used to use Robs Albertan and I wish I had used Reliance The furnace Company prior. Excellent service.

We were looking to replace a 19 year old water heater, which then turned into replacing and renting two furnaces, and the hot water tank, and added a water softener. Michael had some challenges with his computer when he was writing up our contracts, and there was some mix up in pricing & agreements, but after quick response to our questions and concerns, it all worked out fine. The installers, Kevin, Phil and Drew were stellar! The head installer, Kevin, was very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns... everything was done well, and tidy.

Bob arrived to service the furnace Dec 7th. Testing the unit initially suggested that there might be a hole in the oriface causing a back draft of gas. Bob continued to examine the furnace, shutting off the gas, realigning the orifice and burners. What initially appeared to be a major problem was fixed by Bob's determination and skill. Great job, ten out ten.

Bob arrived at my house about 1 hour after I placed my service call. He was courtesy and comical. He explained to me what had caused my furnace to malfunction and how I could prevent this in the future. Bob had my heat back on in less then 30 minutes. I was call #16 for him on this incredibly frigid night and he was still jovial and engaging. The world needs more people like Bob.

-33 no heat.....backlog. It's Saturday, Dec. 10th, BOB to the rescue! Showed us some secrets and we're warm again. Came ahead of schedule and as so polite. Merry Christmas! and a VERY WARM new year.

We requested an estimate using the online service and had Cory out to our home the next day. He did a great job in explaining and providing the details on the costs, which were much less than another company in Edmonton for the exact same furnace. The installation team (Greg and Jared) arrived on time, completed the install and explained everything we needed to know. The service from end to end was excellent! Thank you.

I'm not one to take the time to review services and products, but now that I had such an awesome experience with a company, it warrants my input!! On Nov.8/2016 our furnace quite working, called
Reliance the next morning, at 12:00p I had Michaeal a Home Comfort Advisor at our do Having no HEAT in Nov. was very unsettling, but Michaeal eased our minds and talked us through the purchase of a new furnace. No pressure to buy and very professional! Next day I got a call from Kevin and Drew that they would be arriving shortly!!! The whole experience started at 10:00a and finished by 3:00p. This included removal of an 18 year old furnace that was installed old school and the new install needed to be updated! Nothing was an issue for Kevin and Drew did a complete upgrade to accommodate the new furnace!! My husband and I were so impressed at their expertise!! Everything was explained to us as the install was being done and for the finale, everything was cleaned up and guided to the operation of the new system. We couldn't be happier with the whole process! Koodoos to Kevin and Drew!! It's -27C outside and the furnace is working to perfection! The City inspector came to approve the install and after 5 minutes said it was done to perfection. Good job to Reliance's team!!!!!!!!!!

I have the heating and water protection plan and booked annual service for my furnace. Nathan McLellan came out and not only did the furnace service but noticed I had hot water on demand with Reliance and offered to do the system flush at the same time. I really appreciate not having to book a second appointment. He was very professional and did a great job.

I left a different heating/cooling company 2 years ago to come to Reliance and brought all my business to them and continue to be impressed with their service and employees.
