This was a basement renovation for a 1950's bungalow. The project involved demolishing to the bare concrete and joists, roughing in plumbing for the new bathroom, relocating the furnace and hot water heater, replacing all the ducting and plumbing, upgrading and relocating the electrical service, installing new windows, and then building to the new floor plan.
We are very pleased with the results, it's a totally new world down there. But we are even more pleased with the project process from design through completion. Some highlights:
- Excellent communication. One of the best things was how quick and open communication was. Wallace Fleming was quick to respond, quick to bring up issues and potential issues as they arose (and with an old house there were little discoveries at every step.)
- The project kept moving and on schedule. Nothing stopped or hung-fire, the trades showed up as scheduled and completed work on time.
- The trades were all good to work with.
- The work was well done.
- We would to give special thanks to Cochise ("Coach"). He was the onsite project manager and all-round guy. He is simply great to work with. A very large part of the project's success and our satisfaction with it is due to Coach.
A second project with Wallace Fleming is now underway for the upstairs: new bathroom, new kitchen and a refresh of the rest.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $100,000.00
- Company Response
Hi Carson.
Thanks for the great review! You guys were (and still are for that matter) a great client to work with which always, always, always, makes for a successful project.
We're really good at what we do and have the right trades and suppliers to help us along the way, but a big part of a projects' success is our clients and their attitude and approach to the challenges that come with every project. You guys were great and gracious when issues came up and were always part of the solution.
The above said we are looking forward to working with you again on your kitchen and main floor renovation. Along with the completed basement renovation, your home will be as new as it can get for a 60 year old house. (-;
Regards,
The Wallace Fleming Team
