Mersey Heating And Air Conditioning

I have been a customer of Mersey Heating for almost 10 years and have been very satisfied with their services. Yesterday, my I had my yearly furnace tune up by Cory Latino and I was very impressed with his work. He was very thorough, explained everything he was doing to do before he did it and patiently answered all my questions. He also took the time to ensure we had a carbon monoxide detector each floor of the house. I would highly recommend Cory to look after anyone's furnace.

We had our annual gas furnace tune-up yesterday. It was great service from Cory. He was knowledgeable, thorough and explained everything exceptionally well. He is an asset to the company.

We had excellent service from Mersey today. Their very professional service person, Cory, was thorough and provided us with clear information after the furnace inspection. We are more than satisfied both with the service and the cost and would not hesitate to recommend this company to others.

GreenON guys from the Green Ontario Fund (an agency of the Ontario Government) were here today to install a free smart thermostat and due to their liability restrictions said they couldn't complete the install because the A/C wasn't wired according to their specs. They did say they had run into this in quite a few homes.

So I called Mersey and spoke to manager John T who came to my house this evening at the end of a long day in the other end of Toronto to have a look. He made a simple change so the GreenON guys wouldn't have to touch the wiring inside the furnace explaining there are several ways to wire a system but conceded that the new way made it a tiny bit easier for the thermostat installer.

While he was here he also answered a number of questions I had about the state of my 17 year old furnace and my humidifier, even giving a mini inspection although his company had inspected the furnace in October.

Before John became a manager he had done my annual inspections for a number of years and was always polite, careful, clean and eager to answer my questions. As the nature of today's visit was a bit of a grey area in terms of the my expectations he waived the service charge to keep a long time customer happy which I definitely appreciated. I can definitely say that when it comes time to replace the furnace I know who I'm going to call. Great work John!

The technician (Thomas, 322-00256) was very polite and considerate. He answered the questions I had about noises the furnace had been making and did a thorough job of cleaning the furnace and carrying out tests.
I was very happy with the service he provided.

Noticed in the morning that my furnace wasn't running. Called Mersey and John T came out within a few hours - prompt and polite. Diagnosed the problem and drove all the way up to Markham to pick up the necessary part. Problem was fixed by the afternoon. Will definitely call again.

Mersey has serviced my hi-efficiency furnace for many years as well as my previous old furnace. Always satisfied with their prompt reliable service and courteous service staff. My thanks to Emmanuel George who serviced my furnace in Dec 2018 with the continued expected service.

The operator advised that a service person could be out the very next day but we requested the following week as we were unable to leave work and commit to that week.
The service person was very friendly and knowledgeable and took the time to correct and fix the leak and asked if there was any thing else he could look at whilke he was there.

Mersey Heating came to my house for the typical annual furnace servicing, and also installed a much needed humidifier. Technician Emmanuel George was very professional, efficient, and ensured my home was in the same condition as it was when he arrived, including wearing booties. He took the time needed to ensure that everything was in great working order before he left, and explained the dealings of my new humidifier.

Dave started his troubleshooting work by looking at detailed evidences and symptoms, until he found the root cause. Very experienced and professional work !
