I met Dave about 10 years ago. I interviewed three roofers to replace a roof. I hired him because he was very professional, personable and listened well to my concerns. He gave me a very reasonable quote and proceeded with the job. He and his crew did an excellent job and they came back to to some extra unexpected work in a very timely manner as I was selling the house.

I have just recently met him again to look at another roof at another location where I am now living. He got right to dealing with the problem and fixed some the issues right away. He knew immediately what to fix short term and long term.

Dave still has the same professionalism, personable attitude and willingness to listen to our concerns. We have more work to do and will be having him come back soon to do a bigger job for us.

Shana, who works in the office and organizes the calls is very nice and communicates well regarding timing and any concerns we may have.

Excellent service from initial quote to finished roof. What I liked was how friendly, competent and responsible your team was in getting the job done. They cleaned up each day without destroying any plants or shrubs. Your Roofing team took care to protect landscaping and outside areas while removing the existing roof. All stuff was put away at the end of the day. Your quote was what I paid, and you took the time to explain what was needed and why. The owner Dave was the first person who took out a ladder and climbed up on the roof to inspect it! Other companies simply measure from the ground and give you a quote. I also appreciated the level of detail in the quote. I knew exactly what I was getting. The after pictures and video were also a nice touch. But best of all, Dave answered all of my questions throughout the project thoroughly and in a timely manner. That's exceptional service! We had our roof installed by Gryphon Extreme Roofing 7 years ago. Last month, when we had a leak that plumbers told us was coming from the roof, Gryphon was right there for us. They checked the leak on the first floor, and went up into the attic to see how water could be getting in. A very costly team of plumbers had gone through the house and told us it was the roof. Gryphon said they’d never seen that kind of leak come from a roof before, and he was right!
In the attic, he found wet insulation, and diagnosed what was actually a plumbing issue after all! There was a small crack in a PVC pipe there, leading water to the first floor. He even told us how to fix it.
This company saved our house from further water damage that no one else cared to diagnose.
7 years later, we would highly recommend Gryphon Extreme Roofing. They do stellar work, they stand by it, and they care. Thank you Gryphon!

An unfortunate roofing and eavestrough job was done on our house one year ago, and Gryphon Extreme came to our rescue. They completely reroofed the house and porch, taking away all old shingles (3 layers on north side of house) and stick-on roofing on top of old torch-down on porch roof without damaging gardens or property. Attention was paid to detail every step of the way; they were quiet and courteous and cleaned up every night...we have a tiny lot so access was very difficult but they showed no frustration and were nice to have around.

We needed a new roof as ours was in rough shape. After getting a couple of quotes, some with lower prices, we decided to go with Dave because of the excellent reviews. We were certainly not disappointed - the roof looks great and they were so professional during the entire installation and clean-up. We've already been told by neighbours that the roof looks great. And because of Covid, Dave was unable to finish painting some of the trim. He promised to come back after a couple of weeks, and true to his word, he did. We're so pleased and impressed with Dave and his crew!

We noticed how bad the roof looked in the summer. Called for a couple of quotes. We decided on Gryphon because he was prompt and courteous and answered all our questions. We were the last roof they did in pretty cold weather because he said he knew we really wanted it done before winter. We appreciated that and they did a great job.

Dave and his team were professional, responsive and the results show good workmanship. The crew at Gryphon completed the house + 2 shed roofs in a timely manner even during all the challenges surrounding the pandemic, and it looks great! Dave was respectful of our sensitivity to cost and clearly explained what needed to be done when any repairs were identified. He went above-and-beyond for us. And what an improvement to the overall curb appeal for our home!

Shana at Gryphon roofing responded to my request on Home Stars in a very professional and prompt manner. Dave showed up at my house right on time to take a look at the property and understand the issue. Brian, another crew member came a couple days later to do the full roof inspection. Shortly after I was provide with a detailed quote, both Dave and Brian were able to quickly identify the issues and explain the required work. As a client I felt they took the time to explain what the work was and did not pressure me to do any extra unnecessary work. Dave was also very accessible to answer questions and provided updates with pictures as the job was being completed. The work was completed over a few days, the crew did an impeccable job cleaning up my property after every work day. This is a job many other roofers declined due to some complexities involved but Gryphon took on the job and helped with a leaking issue that has been going on for years. I would recommend Gryphon to anyone looking to do any roof work.

From the beginning to the end of the job, Dave and his team were amazing. They took their time doing the work and I could see the quality in their work. I was a little bit of a pain obsessing over certain details and Dave was patient and answered many of my questions. I would recommend them in a hearbeat.
