We had new countertops & backsplash plus installation of new sink & faucet. We had excellent advice on the design of the job. The work was done quickly, efficiently and with the minimum of mess. We were very impressed with the company and would definitely use their services again.

I contacted Donnlyn for a quote and received a text saying he would drop by the next time he was in the area. We are not in a well traveled area. After 2 weeks I sent a text advising of my disappointment with them and the other contractors I had contacted. Jamie immediately responded saying he understood my frustration and that customer service is important to them. He came 3 days later and took a quick look. He said he would have a quote in about 2 weeks and could start work Sep or Oct. I sent him our architectural drawings. It has now been more than 4 weeks and no quote or contact. Since they have advertising everywhere I was hoping they were more reliable. Incredibly disappointed. Also my employer has a big project in Orillia that they were considering Donnlyn for but now my so lose that business a d much more as they do a lot of renos on their rental properties.

We didn't realize the scale of the work required on our Century home but Jamie gave us a detailed written quote with every item listed and when we hit an unexpected problem he worked with us to fix it promptly and within our budget. They did all our exterior work which included the demolition of a chimney stack, new roof, replacement of exterior wood frame, new siding, gutters, new re-enforced foundations and relocation of some windows. All the work was done to an extremely high standard, the workers put in long days to get finished while the weather was dry and Jamie was on hand every day to make sure everything ran smoothly and answer any questions we had. They cleaned up the worksite every day and even came back weeks later to install the gingerbread trim that I had ordered earlier but was delivered long after they had finished.
We are very happy and the house gets lots of compliments from neighbours and people driving by.

Jamie and Julie are great to work with. Jamie always answers the phone when I have questions or concerns.
Julie has a great eye. My wife and I were skeptical of some her ideas at the beginning of the project but were very pleased with the final results.

I hired Donnlyn Group to fix my backyard interlocking that a previous contractor had done. Donnlyn Group did a fantastic job and went beyond the scope of work I hired them for. Donnlyn Group is very reliable and passionate about the quality of work that they do.

I gave a deposit for a basement renovation with a bathroom renovation to follow. Job to start two weeks later. 2 days before start date I'm texted advising me that there would be a 2 week delay and I'm welcome to give the job to someone else. Not very professional. When I asked for my deposit back I was told no and if I write a negative review I would be taken to court. Jamie and Julie seemed like nice people when we met but turned unprofessional when I asked for my deposit back..

We worked with the Donnlyn Group to do a main floor renovation . They opened up our main floor, installed a new kitchen and made the flow of our homes so much more functional . They were very reliable and professional. We would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a renovation .
They brought a great team of professionals and even had great design ideas .

Be sure to get ”real” verified references. Monitor the job and have pictures every step of the way. Experience has no value if there is no intent. Fake reviews are rampant
