I called Charlie to fix my kitchen exhaust fan duct that came-off. He arrived promptly and attached the exhaust fan duct right-away. Although, he was busy and I didn't mention it beforehand when I requested him to install some brackets for shelves in my garage he agreed to it and did a solid job. He also provided useful tips. Overall, I am happy with his solid and quick service.

We found Charlie on Homestars and are glad we did so. He worked quickly and efficiently and brought materials we needed, providing receipts. He also pointed out several problems we hadn't even noticed, such as rotting wood on our porch stairs.

He was most pleasant to be around and his rates are fair. Highly recommended.

Charlie wasn't the first guy I called for the job but after the other handyman bailed (three times) I gave him a call. Next day he came as scheduled and the job was done. That's what i need, someone who is true to his word and knows what he is doing. I'd gladly recommend Charlie.

I found Charlie through this Homestars website and decided to take a chance based on all his good reviews. Happy to say that Charlie did an excellent job and I would not hesitate to hire him again. Charlie is a reliable handyman and we are all very pleased with the work he did for us. He was able to return our call promptly on a Sunday afternoon and completed the work efficiently and on time. On the day of the job, he arrived punctually at 8:30 in the morning and finished the job by lunch time.

I had a horrible contractor who kept postponing the work completion on the rental unit and I had to fire him to do the work promptly.

I called a few handymen. Charlie was the first one who returned the call. He came the same day to give the estimate and schedule the work. Although he was busy and I had to wait for a week and let the tenant to move in. Charlie came and completed all the agreed work in very tidy manner not disturbing the tenant.
He is very polite and does very good job. I will be very happy to hire him again.

Charlie came to my rescue after I got a totally unreasonable quote from a house prep company as I am getting set to sell my house. I wish I had found him long agao. He took the time out to come to the house, give me a reasonable quote and squeezed me in a few days later so I could meet my time-line. He did exactly what he said he would do and more. Everytime he ran into a snag (and there were some since my house is old) he came to me to give me my options and he always had a reasonable solution. He is meticulous including when he cleans up. He was so flexible, accommodating me when I threw in a few more small items I found while he was there. When I did not like one of the light fixtures I had purchased he agreed to take it down and said if I purchased a new one that night he would be back tomorrow to put it up for me - no extra charge - who does that these days? Well Charlie does. If you have never seen what power washing does to your deck you have to see it. Fantastic, why would you ever need to build a new deck. the few new decking pieces he put in are hardly noticeable. Charlie will be my only choice for future work and he will be recommended to all my friends, family and clients.

It was pleasure to deal with Charlie. He kept communications open at all times, very professional, polite, courteous. Establishes good rapport with his clients. He never lost his patience with me, though I'm not a very easy client, as I want everything exactly how I envisioned it, and I asked him to rehang washroom cabinets for a 2nd time.
I will definitely hire Charlie for more work around my loft and will recommend him to others.
