We were in need of a pool inspection for peace of mind before purchasing our new house. I called several places but a pool inspector is actually quite difficult to find. We contacted Complete Spa and Pool and Paul said he could make it out the next morning at 9am. When he didn’t show, I phoned him and it ended up that my appointment time was “lost”. He showed up 3 ½ hours late, did not take off his shoes or properly introduce himself. He said “I’m the pool guy” and headed right through our house directly to the pool. The inspection took 15 minutes and we had to continuously be asking him questions to get information. Instead of teaching us about our pool and giving us honest and straightforward answers, we essentially got a quote for a new pool. I was told a written report would accompany the inspection and I had to call 5 days later to receive this “report”, which was no more then a two paragraph unprofessional email. We essentially paid $185 for a new pool quote. I would definitely NOT recommend this company. They are completely unprofessional, unorganized and dishonest. We felt extremely ripped off and angry after our so called pool inspection and are still left wondering about the actual condition of our pool.

Diane, sorry but I have to dispute your review. For starters I said I would try to get there in the morning but could not guarantee it due to your last minute request and our very busy schedule. You said it would be okay if it was later because you were there until 1pm with your house inspection. When I arrived I met your realtor at the door and introduced myself to her, she then told me it was okay to walk the three steps from the front door to the rear door of the house although I suggested I could walk around the garage. When you joined us in the back yard it was your realtor who introduced me to you as "Paul the pool guy". As for the duration of the inspection, I was there for over an hour answering your many questions as I pointed out the many obvious problems with the existing older pool structure and equipment such as the concrete decking around the pool was cracked and heaved up in multiple places. The ground under the deck at the deep end of the pool was falling away downhill because there was no retaining wall to hold up the pool deck, this is a major flaw in the construction causing the deck problems. I also pointed out how the steel pool wall was starting to come apart causing the coping and liner to get twisted and damaged. As for the equipment I showed you how the old pool heater was rusted out and was too costly to repair due to age ( old cast iron) and you would be better off with a new high performance heater. I am surprised and sorry that with all of the notes you took you felt you did not get honest answers. I explained in detail all of the problems with that pool structure and was only trying to warn you that even though there was water in the pool, it was not in good condition and would have costly repairs for you down the road. As for the report, it was not a quote it was in fact a written inspection report including explanations and the estimated repair costs of my findings. Our company policy is to only send out reports after we have been paid for our time and efforts, hence the delay in getting you the report. We have done many pool inspections over the years and yours is the only bad review for a pool inspection or otherwise, that we have ever had. This is our 25th year of being in business and we have an A rating with the BBB (Better Business Bureau).
