The Carpet Specialist has been our first choice for now two projects. Once 10 years ago for a carpet installation, and now engineered flooring on the entire upper level of our home. On both occasions he has exceeded our expectations through his work and I would recommend no one other than Andy Gocek for any work you may need done. He will definitely be contacted in the future for any further renovations in our home.

My wife and I have been using The Carpet Specialist for all of our new home projects for the past 4 homes. Each time we have called Andy, he has been fast, accurate and has always done an amazing job. Their price is very reasonable, but its the workmanship that sets them apart. We have referred them to many friends and family and they have never disappointed them either. I want to take this opportunity to thank them for all the years of great service and workmanship.

Hired Andy to install new Jatoba hardwood in my livingroom/dining room area as well as redo the railings on two floors. For the most part Andy was amazing in his professionalism and his craftmanship. I say for the most part because his "apprentice" was the one who actually did most of the hardwood floor install while Andy built the railings/installed some trim. Once finished and the dust had settled I was surprised by the amount of brat nails (some sticking out) that where used and quite visable to install the floor. I should mention though that this floor was installed in a 100 year old house where nothing is level, not even close. I'm sure working with an extremely hard wood like Jatoba didn't help. After nailing in the several protruding brat nails and detailing with a black sharpie marker the nails are harder to see. The railing that Andy worked on was done well but In the future make sure to paint and/or stain before final install. Very difficult after.

Andy was very professional, punctual and finished the job in time as promised. He did a great job. I would refer him to my family friends and will call him again in the future.

I had a small job in my basement to replace some wood laminate floor. I called around and nobody seemed interested in consulting with me or coming to take a look at the space except Andy. He was forthright about the possible solutions and got the job done efficiently and economically. My floor looks great!

We had Andy install hardwood in our Living room, dining room and entrance as well as carpeting on the stairs and landing to our second floor. His prices and product quality were good. He came when he said he would and completed the work when he promised. His workmanship is excellent.

Very professional from the initial contact right through to the end. Showed up on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. Very reasonably priced and the finished product is great!

I have worked with Andy on several jobs over the years. He has always been quick with providing samples, taking measurements, and making sure that the installations go smooth. I would recommend Andy to anyone that is looking for a new floor!

Andy has done work for me in several different homes over the last 4-5 years. He installed carpet in two homes and hardwood in a 3rd.
