James had been servicing my old furnace, so I did not have any hesitation to call him when I decided for a replacement. As expected, he presented to us a set of options, explaining clearly the pros and cons for each. The product price and labour were both reasonable for the quality offered. Although there was no easy solution to piping, given certain restrictions of space and configuration, James used his genuine creativity and came up with an elegant and efficient way. The work was completed as scheduled, clear and clean. James is a very kind and pleasant person, a great professional and he takes his time to answer competently any question. I was very satisfied with the services provided by James and his team member, Nick. Very highly recommended!

My furnace stopped working and required a service call. I received a referral from my contractor. James was quick to reply and help diagnosis the issue over the phone and provide an estimate. Our gas supplier performed an annual maintenance of our furnace. They placed a red tag and shut off our furnace telling us that the secondary heat exchanger needed to be replaced.
A friend referred me to James and he completed the work in less time and for a fraction of the cost than I had been quoted by others. He also installed a humidifier. James is very professional in his work. He arrived on time and was able to finish replacing the heat exchanger and installed the new humidifier in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. James was very thorough in explaining the process of fixing the furnace which gave me the comfort of knowing that the job was being done effectively. He showed us how to operate and maintain the newly installed humidifier.
James is very honest and reliable. He was kind enough to take care of the warranty paper work. He is very quick in replying to emails, phone calls and answering any questions. My existing rental water heater gave up after 10 years, and I had to choose between renting a new one or buying my own. I consulted with James at Flow Teck to help me to make the right decision.
Based on the high rate of hot water consumption required by our family we choose to purchase a Rheem High Efficiency Condensing Power Direct Vent unit. James explained to me that this unit will probably reduce our total energy consumption to about 60% of the rental unit, so the decision was simple...
The same with the installation; James took care of purchasing the unit and arranged to have it delivered to our address. His crew came in and removed the old unit, arranging to be returned to the recycling facility specified in the rental agreement. They drilled the walls in my basement for the required intake air and exhaust piping, re-routed the gas lines and installed the water heater in less than 4 hours. At the same time they have done a direct exterior venting arrangement for my existing furnace, which allowed the furnace to draw combustion air from outside, so we could have our basement completely isolated.
Excellent work by an experienced crew: precise, clean, and efficient. And James was right – my gas bill dropped a lot! I highly recommend this contractor.

I was wowed from the time I recieved the quote. I had a high efficiency furnace installed and a new humidifier. I am extremely impressed with how neat the installation was. The technician also helped me to go through efficient options on my thermostat. Overall it's was a very pleasant experience for a great price!

James is an excellent HVAC professional! I have dealt with him on few occasions, the last one being a service on my furnace. He was always punctual, worked very cleanly, never in a rush, taking his time to do a meticulous job. He is affordable and does not cut corners. He did a good job explaining at the end what he did and what I should expect from the furnace in the future. But the most important thing that separates him from the rest of the HVAC professionals I have dealt with is his ability to perform a system tuning, something that most others do know how do to properly. I am looking forward to have him over again in the Spring, for the A/C service, including its tuning.
