We are extremely pleased our new garage door! We were impressed with meeting Diana at the home show and our decision to purchase from The Garage Door Depot was a very positive experience. Monte delivered "big time" with the installation of a new track and weather stripping (neither of which we were expecting because of the complexity of customizing the track, frame and door). Many thanks to him for his craftsmanship and quality workmanship. We will certainly recommend your company to our family and friends.

I dealt with the Mississauga Ontario location of this company - they seem to have many locations, so I can only speak to this one. They came out promptly to have a look, and immediately determined my opener was beyond repair (manufacturer out of business). That was disappointing, because it meant that we needed a whole new garage door opening system. I didn't seem to have much choice - I was told they only install Liftmaster, and I had to follow up with questions to make sure they understood that I was asking for the cheapest, most basic model that would work for us. All in all it was installed quickly and works well, but being presented with a brochure or something outlining the models available, might have reassured me that I had not been up-sold.

Excellent experience overall. Timely service and fair price. The repair was explained in detail and I am confident that the work was done to a high standard. Great company to deal with - will be my first call for garage door servicing/installation in the future.

I called Greg from The Garage Door Company of Ottawa East for urgent repairs to my garage door on Easter Sunday. I was willing to wait until Monday but Greg came ahead out and fixed my door quickly and very efficiently. He was friendly and personable. I would highly recommend this Company and will be sure to let my friends and neighbours know who to call for great service. This company is located in Ottawa East but Greg was willing to come out to Kanata area on a holiday weekend! Thats service!! Thanks Greg!

Greg of The Garage Door Depot of Ottawa East was very prompt, showed up on Saturday at the hour promised, no overtime charged, fixed all and some extra, all at price quoted. I will be getting a new door from him rather than through a big box store as the service will be second to none. I had called another company earlier in the week, they had assured someone would be there that morning, no show, called again, no one ever showed up. I am grateful there are still companies and owners that you can count on.

Pleasant experience dealing with Garage Door Depot - everyone from the admin responding to the email, the estimator coming in for measurement, and the installer. Very professional, responsive company all around and get the job done in timely manner.

Residential Townhouse complex - 25 years old. We received a number quotes to replace old full width wood garage doors with new steel insulated doors.
The Sales person from GDD was very professional and submitted timely quotes along with technical data on the garage door options and styles.
When the project was approved, the Sales person visited the homes to make sure each homeowner knew what was involved in the door replacements. The GDD inside staff ordered all the material and when it all arrived, they then scheduled the replacement of the 26 doors. The installation technicians were neat, timely and very professional in how they carried out the work.
Overall, the door replacement project got done very quickly, no mishaps or delayed schedules and the homeowners are all very happy.

Our garage door was stuck and wouldn't open or close. I placed a call and he managed to make it through the snowstorm. He replaced the cable and performed extra work that wasn't part of the original request at no extra cost. He was friendly and very polite and happily explained what I needed to know. I would recommend Garage Door Depot.

Our Garage door opener stopped working . I debated to just repair the broken gear myself , but decided to buy a new unit since it was getting old. Since it was winter I decided to call the Garage Door Depot to have Greg install. Within minutes of talking with him on the phone you get that feeling this guy is very professional, honest and trustworthy. When you meet him that what he is and more... .
He quickly had this installed and that was with us chatting during it. After installation he took the time to show how to program and use the new model, cleaned up after and removed all debris. In the past I had to call another company for Garage Door issues and definitely not as professional service of what Greg provided. I highly recommend Greg for your garage door or opener services.
