I RARELY use a/c...mostly because of how my condo is situated, the temperature is pretty level at all times.
Of course, it's the middle of the heat wave in Ontario and I decide to turn on the A/C. We were also going to have a bunch of workers coming in a few days to come and work on our floors and I thought that there was no way they could work in that heat.
When I called Boonstra's they came in 24 hours. They were much later than the time frame but at least they came. It was 10:30pm and the guy came. In my experience if a contractor is that behind he calls to reschedule.
I live in a condo so the unit is on the roof but we didn't know which one exactly. It was very dark outside but the guy stayed nd tried to figure out which one it was.
He wasn't able to (it was waaay too dark) so he promised that they would come first thing in the morning. I said 8am and they were here at 8am.
When he got here he spent the time to figure out which unit was ours and ended up fixing the problem right on the spot. He was super nice and very thorough.
- Approximate cost of services:
- $300.00
- What could this company do to improve their services?
- The only draw back was the initial fee for coming out. The problem was about a 5 min fix (loose wire) but we spent almost $300 on it. In comparison it would have been 10x to replace the unit but the initial fee for just coming out is a bit high. Still worth it though.
