Bought my laundry pair for my brand new house. Pay the delivery and extended warranty to trail appliances and when we got them the delivery guys said that we would experience some staining for the first couple of weeks. As a customer you believe in a company what a terrible mistake!! 6 months later machine still defective clothes keep coming out with stains and now is my fault because it's "impossible for the machine to cause the stains" so yes trail appliances I want to ruine my clothes on purpose just to spent 3 hours at your store for you to say that I am putting something in the machine that is causing the stains. DON'T TRUST THEM!! They won't fix anything or replace anything as the machine is not broken and there is no logic in my arguments...

Bought a samsung washer dryer for our new home from trail. Our laundry room is on the top floor which we informed them of and they said no problem, the sales man sold us the bottom drawer attachements as an included sale, I am quite tall so I thought it would be a good idea. The washer was installed and we began to use it. During the spin cycle our whole house shakes, it actually sounds like a sub machine gun is being fired upstairs. We called trail and they sent a service guy out. Upon seeing the washer his exact words were " ahh man one of these" he told me that this is a known issue and that techs have asked sales to inform customers about the samsung washers being stacked on drawers in top floor homes having very bad bounce. He then informed me he can't do anything and we can take the washer off the drawer and to only do half loads with spin on medium. I contacted a manager and told him what the tech told me, If this is a known issue why are you still pushing the drawers on customers without informing them. I was told they will ask samsung, I have not heard from anyone since.

Buyer beware!!! Trail appliances installed my new Asko dishwasher last November, and after a faulty installation, where they forgot to plug the line to the garborator, water spilled into my sink cabinet and on to hardwood floors. They refuse to accept responsibility for damage and only offered to refund the installation costs. Now my only option is to proceed in small claims court.

I knew what was wrong, I asked for the service tech to bring out the parts to fix it then and they didnt bring anything. Did a inspection and charged me $114.00 to tell me what I already knew.

I did not want a inspection, I wanted a part replaced only.
These guys only know how to take your $ and not do anything you ask properly.

I ordered all of my appliances from Trail. At the time I ordered, I paid half of the cost. Within 2 weeks of delivery, they said that I had to pay the balance, or they wouldn't deliver. When they did deliver, several things were missing. When I inquired, they told me these things were on back order. No mention of this was made when they demanded the balance. It took over 2 weeks to have the remaining appliances delivered and installed, as you are warned that , if you don't use a 'certified installer', your warranty will be void. Wolf had to send out a service person because the installer failed to do it correctly! When I complained to my salesperson, I was treated with disrespect and disdain. This is a company that does not care about customer service or customer satisfaction AT ALL. Run, don't walk to a different appliance store.

Where do I begin... we've had nothing but problem after problem with the products and service (or lack there of) received from Trail Appliances. Ever one of our appliances (with the exception of our washer & dryer, knock on wood) has had an issue and needed to be addressed or serviced (new home build). They've been out 3 times to "fix" (use the term very losely) our dishwasher.. still not proper. Soft water tank has been replaced two times now, 2nd tank also leaking now, was "serviced" twice before the actual replacement. Wall oven has been swapped out, once because the wrong model was installed, second time because it was defective. The list can continue to go on and on. We're still waiting for other items to be addressed, all while not even so much as an apology or consideration for our inconvenience & time. highly recommend you never ever deal with Trail Appliances.

We purchased our 4 door samsung fridge from Trail appliances as well as all other appliances from them Model is RF30HBEDBSR/AA
After 1 year warranty issues started leaking water all over floor and fridge. ice maker and motor noise and clunking. Called trail they said out of warranty nothing we can do call samsung or we can send service repair.
Called samsung no help out of warranty looked online same issues thousands of complaints with samsung fridges and appliances never agian will I buy samsung or from Trail Appliances. Samsung should be sued!

I usually do not write reviews, but I was so satisfied with our experience, that I am compelled to do so. My husband and I visited Trail Appliances in northeast Calgary. (We had previously used Trail when building our home in 2005, and our appliances are all still working well and have never given us a problem.) We were looking at appliances for our kitchen renovation in a new home. when we were approached by a salesperson who offered us her assistance..
She was extremely knowledgeable and informative about every appliance that we viewed. She made suggestions and offered guidance in our selections without being "pushy"and did so without even a hint of being condescending, something which I had experienced in another appliance store minutes before our visit to Trail.
She took the time to explain each appliance’s features and functions and came up with solutions for us when we were unsure of something. We did not start the day with the intent of purchasing our appliances, but I must tell you that we are confident that we have chosen wisely and will most definitely be ordering the package put together for us.
It is not common to come across salespeople who are so knowledgeable, polite, and most of all attentive. I would not hesitate in recommending Trail Appliances because of our experience.

I bought Faber chimney hood fan from them in Feb 2014 and now 2 years later, it has stopped working. I didn't buy extended warranty because I expected something worth close to $1000 to last longer. Besides why would a chimney die so early when the filters were cleaned regularly. Now Trail wants to charge $ 89.95 as call out charge and $24 for every 15 minutes for diagnosis in addition to part replacement and labour for repair. Please beware of buying Faber products as no one in Calgary repairs them( I have made more than 10 calls to see if someone could do it for me. So you are again stuck with Trail) . It's a no win situation for customer. I would never recommend Faber to anyone from my exprience. If you want peace of mind, go to other warehouse stores which have longer warranties .

We bought new appliance for our new house at Trail appliances. Service was great but appliances not. Samsung was a brand with beautiful looks for dishwasher, fridge and microwave highly recommend by trail appliances,

We did not buy extended warranty because appliances should last!!!

Before the 1 year after purchase our samsung fridge RFG237ACRS/XAC broke twice , then we had to by extended warranty because we don't trust the fridge anymore. WE LOST ALMOST $800 in groceries for these couple times.

Before the year Our washer machine also needed to be fix. Couple visits needed to be done.

Our dishwasher was ok, really was not the greatest but good looking. Barely used. Samsung DW80f600UTS. Broke 18 months after purchased. No warranty. Visit with diagnosis $180 , Have it repair $350. Decided to buy a new one, different brand at a different place.

My concern is how trail appliances sells these appliances that have very poor reviews and don't last. the service to sell is great but for any warranty we had to deal with manufactures because we did not buy extended warranties. Is it mandatory now to buy extended warranty because poor quality of products? Why these sales person recommended so poor quality products?
