When we had problems, they fixed it.
Purchased an LG fridge with the promise that it has an ice maker. We received the fridge two weeks later with NO ice maker. They apologized and said they'll order one right away and schedule a time for installation. Two more weeks later, still no ice maker. Phone calls aren't returned and emails aren't answered. The fridge I paid for is not what I received. I will amend this review if the situation changes.
UPDATE1: Apparently LG has shipping issues and won't be getting the ice maker until the end of May. Highly suspicious.

UPDATE3: Had a very nice chat with Patricia. I trust now that the situation is being handled. There is a back-order on the parts and this should be resolved soon. I will come back with a final update once this is all over.
FINAL UPDATE: When we purchased our fridge and were given this weird story of parts shortage at LG and combine that with the reviews here, I wasn't feeling very good. However, Trail Appliances were very responsive and very reasonable to accomodate the situation. I was at first sceptical of the story, but it ended up being true. We got our ice maker installed this week at no cost as initially promised. And when we showed a lower price somewhere else for the same fridge, they gave us a refund for the difference. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. And kudos to Patricia for reaching out. Most online reviews are from people with a problem, but this one is different. The end experience is a very positive one and when things went sideways, Trail Appliances made sure to do right by us. We dealt with the Calgary North-East store. We are very satisfied with our purchase and our experience.
