Leaking Laundry Room Valves + Leaking Water Heater
As with most cases when you need a plumber, for us it was an "emergency". Coming back from vacation our kitchen floor was wet and the ceiling was starting to droop. We realized it was a leaking valve feeding our laundry room.
A McKenna came out quickly and replaced both the hot and cold water valves in the laundry room.
Since they were onsite I also asked them to take a look at a leak around the water tank. It was localized to the mixing valve above the water heater. The part was replaced. However, that night and the next morning we had no hot water. It seems the valve was installed in the wrong flow direction. When calling back to let them know of the issue - and the cold showers in the morning - they were quick to respond, identify the mistake and fix it. They were very apologetic and offered our next service call for free to make up for the inconvenience.
