Over the years and a few moves, we've had quite a few basement renovations. This has far been the most flawless one, even though the previous ones were done well too, just always delayed waiting for individual contractors. Igor is the captain of his ship - the team from sales, design to construction is well run and sails smoothly, which is rare in construction. Our basement renovation was delayed due to the pandemic but Joe kept us up-todate and we finally were able to get the guys in December. The crew that arrived were professional, courteous, explained and gave suggestions to any changes (minor) and any extra cost surrounding that - we even changed our bathroom configuration on the day the crew arrived, which worked out much better than original plans. The electrician and plumber were great too. The crew worked tirelessly from 7:30am to 7:00pm and each day cleaned up as much as possible. On the last day, with the exception of a beautiful basement, you wouldn't have known they had been there. Amazing! We are extremely happy with the exceptional service from start to finish. My suggestion to you is make sure you have any lighting or bathroom fixtures ahead of time (if purchasing yourself) like we did - these guys move quickly so you need to have everything ready to go. If you are looking for a basement renovation, I would highly recommend this amazing family business. We love our basement - Thanks guys - you rock!

Nov 30-Dec 22. This project from start to finish was seamless and was professionally executed. My unfinished basement is now a beautiful amazing space that we can use. Plenty of storage, bathroom with shower, bar area and bedroom/exercise room were added. The crew were quite and professional and cleanup was done at the end of each day. I would highly recommend them. The cost of the project was very good, in fact amazing. I know this because the same house on the street is having their basement done and the cost in higher and my layouts is better

We are so pleased with the work done by Igor and his excellent team. Everything was delivered as promised and our basement has come out beautifully. Once work begins they send armies of tradespeople who are very quick and skilled. Having worked with contractors for years I found everything so well coordinated and organized which made for a headache free renovation. Dealing with the office was a pleasure and appreciated their input in helping bring our project to fruition. Would recommend them without hesitation!

When we were ready to finish our basement, we got quotes from three companies. We had purchased our house directly from the builder and opted for a partially finished basement. The first two companies, that were in the K-W area, would only do the job if they finished the complete basement. Finishedbasements was willing to do the unfinished area or the full basement and they were commuting from Mississauga. This immediately set them apart from the competition. Joe gave us a pair of estimates to review and didn’t pressure us in terms of upgrades. He was very upcoming about how payments, timelines, and communication would be handled. Once we decided to move forward with the project, Igor came out and gave us some potential layout options based on our requests. Once we settled on our layout, we were sent a 3D layout that showed us what our space would look like. We met with Natalie afterward and she was great in terms of discussing options for finishes. We discuss what options would work best based on what we were trying to achieve. Once construction started, Igor, Yuriy, and the rest of the team worked tirelessly to get our project completed. They were polite and professional throughout the process and were sure to ask for our input on different options as we went along. There were a couple of requests as we made while in construction and the team was accommodating. Communication was strong throughout with Joe, Nataliy, and Vitaliy being pretty accessible for any concerns that we had. During construction, there was an issue with airborne dust when the walls were being sanded and they installed a tarp in front of the basement to address the concern.

AWESOME! A very, very positive experience! it was a pleasure working with Andrij and Natalie - they were very knowledgeable, reachable and patient. All the contractors were extremely professional and true craftsmen in their work. Work was finished in 3 weeks. The team was a well-oiled machine that was not only receptive to feedback and ideas but provided very practical suggestions that improved the overall look and feel of the basement. Even when they encountered a few issues in the framing, they quickly recovered and delivered on their product. You can tell that they take pride in their work with their work ethic and attention to detail. I would highly recommend them to anyone finished their basement.

This company is very professional, super responsive, and easy to deal with. They did an outstanding job on our basement. They re-routed poor ductwork and made suggestions for workarounds that we never even thought of. Work was 90% complete in just two weeks. We are now just waiting on the wet bar install which has been slightly delayed (the basement is completely usable and functional without the bar). Overall, a very positive experience. Even with the delay we are still in a shorter timeline than 3 of the other companies we had quote us.

My basement was unfinished. After receiving 4 quotes, I settled on Finishedbasement.ca and I have no regrets. I am very happy with the wonderful work that was done on my basement and I’ve received only complaints about it from friends and family.

The entire crew did an exceptional job at finishing our basement! We love our home again! The crew members were always punctual, answered all of our questions, addressed all or our concerns, and provided helpful and friendly feedback. We dealt mostly with Vitaliy and Nathalie, and despite having just had a baby, they were always accommodating and promptly replied whenever we had any questions, or simply needed clarifications on the work being done. Igor was also inspiring and provided many great ideas which we incorporated into our basement. It is very refreshing to know that there is a company that can be trusted, and delivers as promised. The quality of work exceeded our expectations and our basement was completed in under three weeks!
