When we were ready to finish our basement, we got quotes from three companies. We had purchased our house directly from the builder and opted for a partially finished basement. The first two companies, that were in the K-W area, would only do the job if they finished the complete basement. Finishedbasements was willing to do the unfinished area or the full basement and they were commuting from Mississauga. This immediately set them apart from the competition. Joe gave us a pair of estimates to review and didn’t pressure us in terms of upgrades. He was very upcoming about how payments, timelines, and communication would be handled. Once we decided to move forward with the project, Igor came out and gave us some potential layout options based on our requests. Once we settled on our layout, we were sent a 3D layout that showed us what our space would look like. We met with Natalie afterward and she was great in terms of discussing options for finishes. We discuss what options would work best based on what we were trying to achieve. Once construction started, Igor, Yuriy, and the rest of the team worked tirelessly to get our project completed. They were polite and professional throughout the process and were sure to ask for our input on different options as we went along. There were a couple of requests as we made while in construction and the team was accommodating. Communication was strong throughout with Joe, Nataliy, and Vitaliy being pretty accessible for any concerns that we had. During construction, there was an issue with airborne dust when the walls were being sanded and they installed a tarp in front of the basement to address the concern.
