We needed some repair work to the tiles on our front steps. We had used Chinook in the past for larger jobs with great success, and they did not disappoint with this smaller one. The work was promptly scheduled, expertly completed, and fairly priced. With other companies we might worry that a small project would not get the same level of attention, but Chinook values its customers.

David and the team at Chinook Landscaping were very creative and flexible with my project, which in my case was a small inner city landscaping project. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and neighbours.

I hired Chinook Landscaping to replace a 50 year old chain link fence in an old neighborhood and to replace a sagging concrete retaining wall. Dave was excellent in sorting out the sequence of work that was needed to prepare the site and this helped me to plan what I needed to do ahead of time. The crew of five that did the work were professional, got along very well with each other (I'm a believer that when there is antagonism between workers, the quality of the product suffers) and functioned as a real team. The whole crew worked very hard, were very precise in their work and the outcome was exceptional. They were also very respectful of my neighbours throughout the project which was important to me. I highly recommend this company if you want quality work.

My husband thoroughly researched area landscaping contractors in advance of choosing Chinook Landscaping. From start to finish, we found their personnel to be knowledgeable, capable, hard-working, and easy to talk to/work with. However, their most distinguishing quality became apparent 2 years after our beautiful landscaping was completed. We noticed an issue with a couple of our garden beds and brought our concerns to David's attention. After discussing our concerns, he sent his team leader, James, to view the gardens beds. Within a few days, James and his team arrived to dig up and replace the soil!! Chinook Landscaping's decision to stand behind their work, even 2 years beyond completion, is truly remarkable and exceptional!!

Approximately 4 years ago we had our front and back yards landscaped after having done a major renovation done to our home. Although there weren’t any major problems with the work done, we were never completely satisfied with the way it looked or the plants used.

After reading the excellent reviews on HomeStars, we contacted David about having a major redesign done. The first step was meeting with a landscape designer who works with the company and having detailed plans drawn up. When we mentioned to David that we hoped to have the work completed by mid July because we were having a group of people coming for a barbecue, he assured us that the job would be done. Despite cold, wet weather during June and our belief that there was no way they could get the fairly extensive work done, he was true to his word and everything was finished prior to our party.

The crew working on the project was excellent. James, the project manager, was always happy to answer all questions that we had. Everyone was very professional while being friendly at the same time and worked diligently during some rather long days.

We are very pleased with the end result and have had a number of people stop and compliment the garden. I would definitely recommend
Chinook for the great work done and their prompt replies to all enquiries. Should we need more landscaping done in the future, this is the company we will turn to.
