This is such an amazing company! We have used them for a couple projects now and the quality of their work is exceptional. They helped us fix a number of drainage issues on the side of our house. We would definitely recommend!

We were referred to Chinook Landscaping by our landscape designer. There were so many things I loved about the company and the people! For one thing the owner has integrity. He gives you a real quote and sticks to it. He shows up when he says he will show up. He was a good communicator, was personable and easy to work with. And his team who did the installation followed suit. They were very respectful and left the jobsite tidy every day. They took great pride in their work, as they should, they did an outstanding job implimenting the design and had excellent input when there was a question about the design on the ground. Working with Chinook Landscaping was a great experience, I'd highly recommend them.

Dave and his team transformed our backyard, ripping out an old, small deck and replacing it with a spacious, Techobloc paving stone patio. That work also included re-sodding part of our backyard and rejigging our in-ground sprinkler system.

In addition, Chinook built a flower bed in our front yard, edged with mowing pavers, and rebuilt part of our fence around some other work we were getting done. We're extremely happy with all the finished products and the estimates were very accurate. We have already received a number of compliments on the new patio as the area is so much more conducive to hosting outside now.

Beyond that, from my first meeting/estimate with Dave, I had nothing but positive interactions with the Chinook team. This was an extra busy year for the outdoor trades but Dave was upfront about the scheduling and kept me informed on projected timing as we moved through the summer. (He also didn't blow off my initial meeting without so much as a phone call when he got really busy, unlike another one of the very highly-reviewed contractors on this site.) They were also able to source the materials we wanted even though our job was late in the summer and there were shortages due to COVID supply/demand imbalances.

The guys who showed up to do the work were friendly, meticulous and professional. They were very good about answering my many questions and responsive to any of my concerns. Just a really pleasant group of people to be around and my kids watched them work from the windows for hours on end. Thank you to James, Tanner, Bo/Beau and the other gentlemen for all your hard work and attention to detail.

I'll go with Chinook again for future landscaping projects.

David and his crew are amazing! Very professional and hard working. From the initial consultation to the final product, their level of customer service is bar none! I highly recommend!

After our youngest of 4 left the house we renovated inside and out. Chinook designed and built the most incredible, simple yet creative front shrub bed and yard that was well beyond our expectations. This year, eight years later, we wanted to extend an existing patio with fire bowl and add some privacy screens. Once again, blown away. The work was completed on time, on budget and perfectly executed. We don't get to see them often but have 100% trust in Chinook. Only trouble telling people is it will make it difficult to book them in the future!

We found Chinook Landscaping when searching for landscapers to tackle the mess that once was our backyard. When Dave arrived, we outlined what we had in mind and he quickly provided additional suggestions on how our ideas could be made reality. Our estimate arrived later that day which was really helpful. Dave was quick to answer any additional questions we had and was mindful of our budget. We were reassured in knowing that we were meeting with the company owner to get our free quote.

After we decided to proceed with Chinook, they gave us a timeline for the project and then surprised us when they were able to start much much earlier than anticipated. The foreman, James, and his team worked quickly and efficiently on the project, achieving more per day than we expected. Despite being a relatively small project, they completed all work in just under 4 days. James and his guys were friendly, polite, and respectful; James was able to answer any questions we had and provide further suggestions for what to plant. Passersby were also impressed by the team and their work.

Each day, the team cleaned up the site, put tools away, and ensured that our property would still be presentable overnight. After everything was done, James went over how to maintain our new landscape and had helpful tips about what to do.

We live in a townhouse, with a small backyard, and after some research, were pleased to find Chinook Landscaping and Design would take on that size of a project. Dave and his team at Chinook are top notch. They delivered on every promise made and transformed our patio into a space we will enjoy for years to come. Dave made great suggestions for the design, as well as the type of patio stones since due to COVID-19, we could not look at samples ourselves. We were pleased to be their first project of 2020. The crew, James and Jordan, took care to ensure social distancing with us while completing the work. Even our neighbours commented on how friendly and courteous they were. Amazing service from initial contact to job completion. I will, and have, recommended them to everyone who is looking for the best quality and service! We have had so much work done on rewriting our mid century bungalow and Chinook is one of the best contractors we have ever had the pleasure of working with. We (Condominium Corporation) hired Chinook Landscaping to have existing shrub beds upgraded by moving and reinstalling mowing pavers, removing dead and sick shrubs and replacing them with drought tolerant shrubs. The beds were then covered with landscaping fabric and cedar mulch. Chinook also removed and replaced a number of dead aspen and spruce. From start to finish our project was handled very professionally and in a timely manner by both David and his hardworking crew. Once the project was started, there were no delays and we (Condo Board and residents) were very pleased with the end result. Needless to say, we highly recommend Chinook Landscaping and will not hesitate to recommend them and to use them again in the future for other landscaping needs.

Chinook planted privacy trees, a hedge, bordering stones and set outdoor lighting for my home. We love the finished product and so do our neighbours, who all complimented the work. This is the second time we have used Chinook, and each time was a pleasure - on time and on budget with a top notch job. Highly recommended.
