My wife and I booked with Daniel from the above mentioned company. COURTEOUS, RELIABLE, STRESS FREE!! We moved from Ajax to Milton.
No damages !!! No extra costs!!! work was done in a timely manner. These guys truly are stress free movers. I will and would recommend these guys to any and everyone.

S-C-A-M. ASKED FOR MONEY AFTER LOADING OUR THINGS. WOULDNT BUDGE WITHOUT $200 IN CASH. THEY CLAIM ITS THEIR "COMPANY" THAT IS ENFORCING THIS. AFTER CALLING "COMPANY" SHE RUDELY TOLD ME TO PAY UP (AFTER ALREADY PAYING $300) AN ADDITIONAL $200 FOR "CALCULATION" FEES THEN HUNG UP ON ME. THEY GO BY MANY DIFFERENT ALIASES, BEWARE.

I was quoted on the phone that the move would total 180 and if it was any higher than that then he'd cut me a deal. He also stated that he was fully booked during the day but could do 3pm. The drivers called me at 9:20am telling me they were on their way. I couldn't move at that time since I planned my day around 3pm. After loading everything up, I was handed a piece of paper that said I owed $369. There was all handwritten charges that were not agreed upon or signed upon and a 3 hour move of a studio worth of things was charged 5 hours. When I refused to pay the total, the owner was outrageously rude and wouldn't listen or deal with me at all. The two young movers also badly damaged my walls and doors all during the move. I would not recommend these people to anyone ever.

After setting up the move for 5pm the driver called me at 2pm to say he was there to pick up the piano. Actually, he wasn't, he was 50 minutes away according to our next conversation but by that time he realized that the piano was actaully a piano and would be heavy so he had to find another helper and didn't show up until 6. When they arrived at my place there were no blankets as per their advertisement. One of the movers answered the phone while holding the piano and it tipped and the pedal snapped off. Luckily my husband saw this as they just tossed the pedal in the back of the truck and din't say anything until called on it. Nothing was damaged when they banged the paino on the door but, seriously folks!! I told them that we would pay the agreed upon amount once they replaced the pedal. That didn't go over well at which point they tried to get me to sign a contract stating that I would pay for the move on the spot and make a claim later. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! I gave them a signed note stating that I would pay in full once they repaired the pedal that was damaged due to their negligence. After a lengthy argument the movers left. I called Shane to tell him and he threatened to take me to a collections agencey (kinda tough when you don't have a signed contract) and then ended our conversaton by saying "F**k off! F**k off! Just F**k off". Seriously!! My husband is reminding me that I should always check homestars first - point well made! Do yourselves a favour and steer clear of SMS Movers. It will make for a good story later but not worth the hassle.

I wished I had read these reviews before calling these guys. They quoted me one thing over the phone and on the day of moving charged me much more. Fortunately it was a small move so the 'rip off' was a bout $100. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

They ripped me off after quoting me 120.00 it was 340.00 after I was done. They left stuff behind broke things and were rude. I have read the reviews and cant sleep because my things are still in storage with them and I cant get it out till next week. I called to ask the address and they said just let us know the drop off and we will be there. I KNOW from the reviews Im in for a mess of drama Im sure ...the police will be called and stuff will be broken or missing. PRAY FOR ME!

I basically have the EXACT same story as everyone else. I wish I would have googled further into this company. I was very professional and reasonable when they ended up charging me an INSANE of amount of money not even close to the quote. I called the office, spoke with the owner and was greeted with verbal abuse and swearing. I was even reasonable, and said I would meet him halfway on the price even though THAT was pretty ridiculous. Not only did the driver not understand instructions on moving TWO items, he constantly got lost and kept calling me for directions and re-verification of the addresses. I have never been treated or scammed SO BAD in my life. Please spread the word.

Sms ripped me off! Took $280 and brought half of my stuff downstairs in my building and instead of moving me, they drove away! I called.and they stopped answering my calls. Scam artists! Don't call!

I use SMS for my moving from North York to Scarborough. When they picked my stuff up in North York they were three hours late and I had no choice but to store with them seeing how the rental unit company that I was going to use had closed. They charged me approx $536 (to include a step charge) They stored my stuff for two months. When I contacted them to move it the said ok made arrangements with to deliver it between 2 - 3 PM. At three PM I got a call asking me if I was sure that I had store my stuff there. I said yes and told them that they better find my stuff. The called back to ask me what colour my furniture was. I told them white (my loveseat, chair an automan is off white) and asked me if it was leather I told them no it wasn't. At this point I was starting to get more than worried. At 4:30 they called and asked me for my last name I told them and they said they found my stuff (mentioned a particular item that didn't get delivered) and that it would be loaded and on the truck and would arrive shortly. The driver then called back and told me to go to the bank and get him some cash. I told him no way as I was paying by MasterCard. When he arrived he demanded that I pay. I called the company and they told me that if I didn't pay that he would have the truck sent back and they could make arrangements for another day. During this conversation I told the fellow on the phone that stuff was missing and the driver and his helper tried to reasure me that there was nothing missing that they had the boxes behind the furnitre. Also a box that was sealed had spilt out over my furnitre. In that conversation my son took the phone and the person on phone was rude to him as he was to me. My son also stated that I had told him and the driver that there were stuff missing. I paid the $508 by my MasterCard and just wanted to get my stuff in. When they moved in the stuff I realized that more than I thought was missing in fact there over 30 items missing. I spoke to the fellow on the phone and told him that I had stuff missing and he told me that he would deal with on Monday. When I called back later to inform him that there was more missing than they brought he didn't answer his phone and it went to voice mail. I left a message. This morning I got no call so I contacted Metro Toronto Police and has a wonderful officer attend my home. She contacted the same fellow and they agreed upon me hearing back tomorrow at 10AM to inform me if the stuff was in the warehouse and he would make arrangements for it to be moved. The officer told him that at this point I do have a civil suit but that she would be looking into criminal charges to see if they are warrented. So I await to find out tomorrow if they call and if they do what they will tell me.

If you are a person that has been dupped by them like me I suggest that you contact the BBB and report them even it is just being overcharged. If we all do this then they will be doing ourselves and others a favour.

By the way they go under three names and they have move there location more than once but they still are in Etobicoke even though I was told they were located in Mississauga.
